The food was diabolical and I mostly ate out, even a rep, because there wasn't one there, I found at a different hotel said straightaway he'd heard the food was awful.
The shower head kept falling off the wall and there wasn't much water.Air conditioning didn't work too well which meant I was tossing and turning all night and as the sheets didn't fit the bed at all I ended up lying just on the mattress and having to get up and make it in the night.
The sheets wern't changed all week although the towels were.
One good thing was not too far from beach.

This meant that having a couple of drinks on the balcony before going out at night was not really an option. The air conditioning did not work properly so I hate to think how warm it would have been in July or August. T
he staff were pleasant, no complaints there but the food was the worst I've ever had on holiday. It was lukewarm and after being given our table number we found that we were expected to share with another two people we didn't know (who were German so we couldn't have made conversation with them anyway) I can't understand the point in this - it would have been better to have just taken any free table (which we ended up doing anyway.
The pool area was very small, with the usual problem of people laying their towels out on the sunbeds first thing in the morning.
I definitely would not go back to this hotel again.

The hotel was very clean and the food was more like 5 star than 3 star
The location is perfect as well 300mtrs from the beach. As for the enterainment the are all hard working guys and girls who put on a brilliant show.

The food in the hotel is brill I am the true Brit abroad looks for English food all the time so I do not normally stay half board. so when I went into the hotel restaurant i was amazed at the choice their was something for everyone.
I have read some reviews about the restaurant and thought people where being rather picky after dinning in their.
Their where always lots of sunbeds and their was no need to rush down and reserve them at stupid o'clock. We spent alot of time around the pool and their was always 2/3 stacks of sunbeds left over (we did hear that the hotel had brought 150 new beds).
The entertainment was fantastic not the norm sitting around listening to the music man song. they had tribute bands performing Kool & the gang, The Beales, The Four Tops, The Platers, also a magic show and acrobats.
I will be going back again next year it was that good.

Television channels cater only for German or Spanish speaking people.
Bed linen changed only once a week which we felt was not acceptable, towels changed every day.
Food was very basic but in plentiful supply.
Location is excellent as it is not far from the beach and a ten minute walk will take you into Cala Bona which is lovely.
Please note that the gym, indoor pool, and sauna room are only open in winter months(this was not stated on website when we reviewed the hotel).
Staff not very child friendly. Needed help after an incident in the hotel and staff all of a sudden could not speak English.
Entertainment ok.

The Hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful
when we arrived our room was a bit small for our needs we asked for a room change and was given a choice of another room the very next day the entertainment was ok but we went out most nights.
We found the pool very clean.

Fantastic choice of food, even the fussiest of eaters can't fail and the breakfast has everything, English bacon and sausage every day.
Santa Ponsa is a fantastic resort which caters for all, great beach, nice bars, shops and restaurants (although we never needed them, the hotel food was that good) Don't miss a night out at the square to catch the tribute nights.
Evening entertainmentis the usual fayre and the hotel bar is expensive but Santa Ponsa has plenty to offer.
Fantastic Hotel, not my 1st visit and won't be my last.

Food very good and also a large selection of desserts and fresh fruit daily.
Hotel bar very expensive Bacardi & coke 5 euros, pint of Worthington's 5 euros and just coke 1.80
Lovely resort plenty of places to visit on the bus or by taxi.
Would definitely visit this hotel again.
Remember to take tea bags etc as a kettle is provided

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful it was only a two minute walk from a fabulous beach and a whole strip of shops there were clubs just up the road for young people open till late and there was plenty to do for all ages.
The entertainment was ok but we only watched it once on the first night, good for kids tho as they play games with them all day in the pool etc.
The food was nice with a good selection the only problem is the plates are small so sometimes you have to go back up (like my boyfriend did every day).
Like someone else said you do have to que up in the morning for a good sunbed, people start queing at about 7:30am and the doors dont open till 8:30 so there is quite a few people there by then.
Anyway all in all this is a brilliant hotel and I would definetly go back there and recommend it to all ages.
This hotel is a 3 star but should def be a 5 star.
