we felt the restaurants in town were a bit expensive, service could be a bit slow, the harbour was clean, with live entertainment if you wanted it!did not use the beach as told it was full of jellyfish, but would have only of been a 15min walk from viva.
aqua rock water park close to the appartments . did not go as was quite expensive, viva activities sufficent for the kids.
hired a car some lovely places to visit especially cala morrell, the beach at santa galdana, hotel patrici - a cheese factory and hotel being restored to its former glory
at ferrerias, well worth a visit -beautiful grounds with sculptures to explore.
cant wait to go back to this very friendly and family orientated island.

The beach is small, but very nice white sand clear waters and although not far to walk it is a bit out of the way from marina which is the main part of the resort.
The marina is quite big and is very nice. All the restaurants are set around it so it is very pleasant in the evening having ameal. It is very family orientated and paricularly good for pre school families. All the restaurants have high chairs and all serve kids meals although as with most places NOT ENOUGH VEG available with the meals its all pizza chicken nuggets fish fingers and chips.
There is little in the way of bars and what there are are very expensive for drinks. There is a bandstand where 2 old guys play guitar and keyboard and sing easy listening music which is nice and the young kids like to play and dance around there, but it does get repeatative after a while.
Goody Goody is a kids outdoor play area with rides, bouncy castles etc, quite pricey though-worth buying aday pass rather than paying for things individually.

Great place, but I think you might get restless over 2 weeks. Get a car or bus and go to Cuitadella, about 10 miles away. We loved it so much we had our honetmoon there. Like a Spanish York.

Beautiful beach. Golden sand with crystal clear water. Very gently shelving, so you can walk out a fair way - no sudden drops. We did not use the beds, we bought a parasol for only €8.50 . Lots of great restuarants set around a lovely marina. The Shamrock bar is good for live entertaiment. We would definetly go there again.
Car hire around €100 for three days. That seemed enough time to see the island. Mao is well worth a visit.

Cala Bosch we found to be clean and amenties we well located. The marina was lovely to stroll around during the day or the evening with lots of resturants including four chinese, couple of irish bars and some english bars mixed in with more traditional resturants. We ate out a couple of times and found the food to be very good. The beach was clean and had a flag system and was good for snorkeling, but beware only swim at the beaches and not the rocky bays as there were many jellyfish in these areas and one of our friends got stung.

We would visit this resort again

Cala'n Bosch is a pleasant enough resort with a pretty marina. However steep steps have to be negotiated over the bridge to reach shops on the other side, or a long walk round the marina. There is a little train that runs round the area but could really do with keeping to the coastal route rather than the residential side which was seen on the way from the airport.

Lots to do in the Marina and the Goody Goody soft play park is a must for families with small kids like ours. We went on the train around the resort which was lovely and also hired family 4 wheeled bikes to see the resort.

I would definitely go back to this hotel but maybe in July/August when it is a bit warmer. A week is enough here especially with small kids!!!
