Cala n Bosch is a lovely resort if you do not want too much mad nightlife. there is live music around the harbour every night but this does not intrude on the dining experience which makes up the evening entertainment!. There are a few pleasant bars. A good resort for couples and families seeking a quieter holiday. resort attractive, beach lovely, enjoyable strolling around by day or night. We did not find eating out too expensive, a 3 couse meal with sangria, beer and soft drinks for about £45.

The resort has a bundle of restaurents around a beautiful marina - which comes to life at night.

It takes all of about 5-6 mins to walk to the resort centre. it has a very relaxed atmosphere and all the restaurent staff are very friendly and welcoming.

There is a small train runs through and around the resort during the day which gives a lovely tour for around 7 euros each .

Its just a lovely place to visit for a relaxed family holiday and we are looking foreward to returning again in 2007

Being a party of 3 teenage girls, apparantly this is unheard of in calan bosch, and we noticed! There were enough bars around the marina and the Big Apple bar was a good night out but there were never many young people around and I would say that if a lot of nightlife and other young people is what you're after then try and find somewhere else. Overall the resort was nice though with lots of good jewellery shops and a nice beach.

Our second stay in this resort, so we knew how good it would be. The lovely beach can get busy, so we visited late afternoon to enjoy a swim in the clear blue sea.

In the evenings, we enjoyed eating out at the many well-priced restaurants around the marina.

Our 15 year old enjoyed the Aqua Park , cost €17.50 for over 11's.

Great resort, although man made with very little character it had plenty to offer, good and plentiful bars and restaurants and not too expensive either. The most we paid was around E80 for starter, main course, deserts and drinks. Boat trip around the coast well worth a go.

Cala n Bosch was exceptionally busy, there were mainly Scots, Irish Italians and Spanish, as the English schools had yet to break up. the marina got uncomfortably packed at night, especially after 8.30.

The beach got packed too, you felt like you were on top of one another, especially when an amorous Italian couple spread themselves out at our feet!

The restaurants round the marina were all pretty average, similar prices, menus etc. This was our 2nd visit to Cala n Bosch, I dont think we will go again, we much preferred Cala Galdana.

The resort was quiet but the marina is only a 10 minute walk away with lovely bars, shops and restraunts.

A trip to Cuitadella is a must. Its a 20 minute bus journey and the bus stops outside the hotel. Cuitadella is lovely full of little streets with unusual shops and cafe bars.

We stayed in the resort of Calan Bosch. would gove it 9/10 the only thing that lets it down is the beach is tiny and gets very crowded.

The entertainment for the kids is great it has a water park (if u go after 3.30 its half price) Go karts A play centre called Goody Goody which has everything Bouncy castles, trampolines, amusments ,mini golf, and a mini water park.

Would def reccomend Chaplins Bar its great for the kids and the staff are brilliant. and the glass bottom boat trip is well worth the money.

You can't buy cigarettes in this resort though the supermarkets have been banned by the goverment so you will need to get a bus into Citudella which isnt far. You can buy single packets in bars but the only place that sells regal is Chaplins.

Would definatley go back here!!

The harbour around Calan bosch was very pretty, Young children are really well catered for. There are lots of restraunts and bars they are lively and bustling without blasting out music. We were half board in our hotel but couldn't resist eating out a few nights as there was such a great variety of restraunts.
I was a bit worried that our children (16&15) would be bored as most reviews said the resort was quiet but they seemed to find plenty to entertain themselves as they were out really late every night, but we weren't worried they were in any danger Menorca is a very family oriented place. There were a lot of children their age.
