The resort had so many bars and restaurants, most of which had some sort of entertainment for the kids like bouncy castles etc. There was also plenty of shops and supermarkets.
The people were really friendly and laid back, so different from mainland spain. the food was good and very reasonably priced, even though most dishes came with chips, the kids would love it.
It is easy to get the bus to nearby towns, and these are very frequent and not too expensive. there is a water park in the resort, saving the usual expensive trip through your tour operator to visit one.
The resport was pretty quite in the day, but came alive at night.

We have just returned from our 4th holiday in Menorca. The first was in Cala N Bosch and the last 3 in Cala N Forcat and we just wanted to add 2 comments. The first concerns The Dragon chinese restaurant behind the open air church just off the square. It really is the best Chinese in the resort, don't bother with The King which is just off the same square but in the opposite direction.
Secondly we'd like to highly recommend a place that we don't think anyone else has mentioned. It is called Ca'N Moll and is in our opinion one of the best in the area.
If you walk out of Cal N Forcat past the water park, under the arch where Burger King is and keep walking towards Cala N Blanes. Keep going past a Spar shop on your right (with loads of inflatables hung up outside)and it is the next thing you come to on your right. It has a small play area for the kids but the main deal is the food that is second to none in Cala N Forcat.

Cala'n Forcat beach is practically non-existant (it's a small cove) and not worth mentioning! There's no harbour either. The 'main drag' of shops is the 'usual' mix of gift shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. It's not a very big place. There is a water park and two bars with adjacent children's amusements. Apart from that, not much else.
Not far from Cituadella, on the Mahon road, is a Go-Cart track. This went down the best with my 10 year old and remained the 'best thing' done on this hoilday. We hired a car for two days and visited it then.
If it's beach you're after, then our previously visited Cala'n Bosch wins hands down. It's harbour area with bars and restaurants is a bonus. When we had the car we visited Cala Galdana and that beach is superb. Beach front restaurant was expensive, though.

Our hotel was only a few yards from the main shops, bars and restaurants and a few minutes from the beach (which was beautiful and clean)There are lots of supermarkets, bars and restaurant which were all of a high standard. There is a water park ten minutes down the road which was excellent and well worth a visit.
We would definitely go back to Calan Forcat and to Los Lentiscos.
I must mention the excellent restaurant just behind our apartments called Maxi's. Their food is gorgeous and very well priced and the view of the sunset is even better!

A great resort for families . Enough entertainment to keep kids and adults busy all night.
A few small beaches worth visit to have a look at the rocky coastline but paths to beach not buggy friendly.
I would return to this resort again as theres a relaxing feeling about the place.

Great resort for kids, lots for them to do and totally geared up for them.
If you want a more adult location or a lovely beach then try Cala Galdana, even worth hiring a car to visit
