When we were at castillo san jorge, it was exellent, i went with my mum and da and little brother and there freinds.

I don't know how anyone could say it was terrible because it was the best holiday i've ever been on. The hotel was spotless. The hotel is situated a few meters away from the edge of the rocks. As soon as we walked in the tiles were shining the whole reception area was clean. There were very comfy chairs, store room to keep your suitcases and toilets. That was just in the reception area. I was really pleased.

The staff were very freindly and help-ful.they pointed out exactly where our room was. Right next to the reception were the desks for your travel operator.We didn't need to use them but they semed friendly enough.

On the way up to the room, we took the lifts, they were imaculate. When we got into our room the first thing i thought was wow. it had everything you needed for self catering. My dad used to get up every morning, jump on the FREE bus to the hyper market and get things for our tea.

The only thing i could fault about the hotel was the pool. It had bits of leaves in it but every night you would see somebody cleaning it. We just used the pool next door in the other hotel. That was imaculate.

The hotel cleaning ladies would come in every day maybe even every second but that was just once in a while. They like to save washing two many towels so they would come and change them every second day . There was one cleaning lady who used to clean our room and because me and my mum talked a bit of spainish we could communicate with her.It was really good.

We never used the entertainment because we were at a scottish bar every night but it looked good. Next time we go back we will use it. The flower of scotland bar was excellent because the bar staff were really freindly and we got to know them well.

Right where our hotel was situateed there was a path which you could walk right to the harbour or if you went the other way you could walk right into nuevo horizonte. Also along that path there was chipmunks which i used to feed grapes. Because the sun was quite hot i went a walk up to the chipmunks where you would get a bit of sea breeze.


I would advise anybody who was looking for a relaxing holiday to go to fuertaventura because it is really relaxing.

We had seen these apartments on previous trips to Caleta de Fuste and liked their location, right next to the beach.

They are classed as 4* in the Airtours brouchere and as I had booked the holiday for 13 of us I was a bit nervous!

When we arrived, although reception in the San Jorge isn't normally manned, the staff came over to sort out keys etc.

When we got to our rooms we were very pleased. They were very clean, spacious and most of the furniture and fittings were quite new. Best of all was the sea view! We had paid

My husband and myself stayed at the Castillo San Jorge and were thoroughly happy with this accommodation. Our room was spacious, modern and very inviting and the view out over the see was lovely, the apartments would be excellent for a family but I would advise that if you had small children stay on the ground floor as the balcony

The room was vey spacious and bright with quite a big balcony. The beds were massive and there are safes in the rooms.

Kitchen basic but adequate, maid service everyday but she kept moving all my stuff around which got a bit annoying. Staff were terrible nobody can speak a word of english, luckily our hol rep was great.

Didnt eat in all of the restaurants but the pool bar was terrible at breakfast!!! Great restaurant called geppetos in one of the sister hotels the service was excellent. Dont go here if you want early nights though the main bar is in the middle of the hotel and is very noisy.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment and our friends 1 bedroom.
Although our apartment was on a full board basis having a extra bedroom for our 11 year old was an asset. The furniture is basic but good condition and kept very clean by the very friendly staff. There was a small lounge and kitchen area with patio doors off from the bedrooms and lounge.

The location is excellent. Right next to the sea and rocks. Loads of chipmunks and friendly fisherman sometimes sat on the rocks. I would often wonder off on my own and sit for a while very relaxing.
The choice of pools are great some quiet some active. Always a member of staff coming around to see if our very shy 11 year old daughter would join in she did!amazing. The staff our so friendly without being"in your face. Entertaiment for adults and kids was great.

The half board food was very dissapointing and basic. But thier own resonably priced restaurants cater for pizza steak and the more discerning pallette.

Part of the Elba hotel group, these apartments are on the shoreline, many with a sea view.

The rooms are kept clean by the friendly staff, and mopped out most days, and provides a quiet retreat to relax in should you wish.

The entertainment can be intrusive if your room is above the al fresco stage, and can be noisey till after midnight. That said, this has only happened to us during the school holiday period. Not a problem if you like to join in, but can be a nuisance if youre trying to get to sleep.

Overall, great. We have been to these apartments twice, and the only thing we could really fault them on is that they were starting to look ready for a re-paint.
