This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Clean, enjoyable place to visit. try hiring a car to site see around the island
Rooms round pool opposite restaurants are good, lower level

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

The resort itself was quiet, expected at this time of year, but there was still plenty to do and a few decent eating places and bars to explore in the evenings.
Only ventured onto the beach once and its not as good as others in Corejllo or Calma, but okay and clean.
Drinks and food on the resort is the normal sort of fayre and average price range. We were paying about 3 Euros for a beer and a meal for four with drinks came to about 60 Euros, depending on what you had of course.
Would go back without doubt as it's friendly, clean and has enough for the average couple to enjoy.

Caleta de Fuste is meant to be the place you escape to if you want a relaxing holiday, but noisy bars with karaoke until the early hours is not what I call relaxing.
The beach was lovely, as were some of the smaller bars and restaurants that catered for couples and families. But the big groups of holidaymakers (who should have gone to Corralejo) ruined it.

The resort was lovely, beaches & surrounding areas very clean. Lovely long walks along the beach without being hassled by sellers. Plenty of Bars, Hotels with entertaiment. Food was rather expensive though in some places. Hiring of 2 sunbeds,1 brolly was 9Euros per day. Cheaper to buy your own brolly really.

the man made beach is very rocky. but is close to the hotel a quick 10 minute walk down the road. there are plenty of shops and bars around an a mimi golf course which we visited twice. Buses are available to other resorts if you want to go.

Resort was spotless no litter anywhere. Entertainment was very good in the resort.
The beach was very clean but be careful because you can burn very easily because of the wind.
In my opinion it could do with a few more shops, there is nothing to spend your money on.
I would go back tomorrow to this resort.

Main public areas were very clean, didn't really see much in the way of entertainment. Will say that the supermarket near to the Barcelo was a bit of a rip off. If you want bargains, go to the big Spar in the Atlantico centre and there are more shops not geared up for the naive holiday maker!!. Beach near to the Barcelo was not as clean as if you went a bit further round the coast, near to the Elba and Sheraton it was a lot cleaner and safer for young children as not so rocky and the beach shelved into the sea. If you do decide to walk from the Barcelo area to the Atlantico, go by the main road, there's a proper pathway (or take the free bus!!)

The resort itself was quiet. Ideal for families, but for couples and singles or anyone looking for a lively time you would most definately be bored out of your mind! I did not see any clubs or anywhere you could go in search of 'entertainment' apart from the hotel itself. There was no pubs with loud music spilling out. So I guess in this resort you would rely on your hotel's entertainment itself. The rep did mention at the welcome meeting of some drag act entertainment but I think you have to book that in the tourist centre at the Commercial Centre. The Commercial Centre itself was a one minute walk. It had a fantastic playground for the kids, a supermarket, a perfume shop, a lovely sweet shop, restaurants, but not alot else. The supermarket was alot cheaper than the one in the hotel(a large carton of orange juice was 1/3 of the price!). And I wouldn't suggest you use the hotel one unless you are just nipping in for one or two things or are desperate for something quickly! There is the Atlantico Centre (approx 15-20 mins walk/ short taxi ride) which has a few shops, a McDonalds, a Burger King, but to be honest there is nowhere in the resort to go if you fancy having a good splurge!!
The are a good choice of restaurants in the resort, but prices vary widely. The Fado Rock is good for steak/seafood and The Slow Boat 2 does a mean chinese. The Trafalgar does lovely Sunday roast dinners (everyday , I think). All restaurants including the chinese and indian do chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips style menu for kids. Please do check you bill wherever you go to ensure you are not paying for anything you shouldn't be.

Lovely resort, just like a postcard, a very windy resort which makess sittin on the beach difficult. Lovely and hot but not until miday most days. Very clean, baku water park is very good and the oasis park is over rated for the price.
