Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.
Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities

This being our first visit to the Island we were very impressed , much prettier and laid back than South Tenerife which has become rather tacky of late.
Correlejo boasts beautiful clean beaches,12 miles of sand dunes,a lovely harbour and a good choice of restaurants and bars with no pressure to enter.
We had some good meals and a friendly welcome in the Waterside Restaurant and the Cordon Blue both on the beaches towards the harbour. I wouldn't recommend the Terraza Steak House either for food or fiendly service. Our haven fom the heat was a lovely icecream/cake/coffee shop in the high street.
We went on two Airtours trips which were both very well organised and good value for money. They were full days and possibly a bit long for small children but the ones on our bus seemed to have a good time especially at Oasis Park -a beautiful very well run zoo.The trip included a video'd camel safari (DVD could be bought for 15E and included footage of the zoo and shows taken on another day) A lovely souvenier of a memorable day.
The other trip was Lava Land - a ferry ride to Lanzarote followed by a trip to the National Park to see the volcano's which were amazing and caves in the rock which housed a lagoon and concert hall. Both trips included an excellent meal.
We didn't think Lanzarote was a patch on Fuerteventura for a holiday destination and would definitely go back to Corralejo to sample some more of it's delights.

Corralejo is a charming little fishing village, with a very small beach. There are several gorgeous beaches just out of town. The town itself is a good 20 minutes walk from the apartments down hill, a little more exacting on the way back; but plenty of taxis available for 3-4 euros. Loads of restaurants and cafes, some of them overlooking the harbour, we found the quality of food to be extremely good and not too expensive. There is something to suit everyone's pocket. We would go back again we thoroughly enjoyed out holiday although just a week.

Corallejo is a small resort but has a lot packed in.
There are plenty of bars restaurants and the place is heaving from 7.00 until about midnight when most places begin to shut up for the night. Did not notice any loutish behaviour or drunkenness.
Restaurants to suite all tastes inc Mexican, Italian, Steak, Spanish loads of Chinese (all called Show Boat)
Beaches are out of town near to 2 large isolated hotels. The further South from the resort you head the quieter the beaches are.
Without over exaggeration the beaches are stunning. The white sands stretch for miles and the sea is beatifully clear and warm.

We only visited the beach once, but it was a good day out - plenty for the kids to do. The old town is lovely as is the harbour area. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Waterpark a very good day out.

Resort itself was lovely with a lovely marina with lots of restaurants .
We did not eat there as we ate nearer the lobos bahia but went for nice walks.
We all liked the area very much and hope to go back next year.

Correlejo is geared up for the British tourist and there are plenty of English bars and restaurants, the best way to see Fuerteventura is to hire a car on the first day and get out and about round the Island to all the major tourist spots, there are only two main roads on the island - one coast road and one inland both well maintained and easily signposted.
Some of the beaches are fantastic and well worth a visit, if you are not moving out of Correlejo then walk out of town to the sand dunes and visit Flag Beach - 9 euros for two sunbeds and a brolly but take your own food and drink as with most of the beaches there are no cafes or bars around.
For the best sunsets and the trendiest restaurant on the Island - visit the Aguyere Bar & Resturant in El Cotillo.
Correlejo is not the cleanest place we have ever been but certainly not the worse! We are going back to Correlejo in February and the Caleta Playa

The beach was fantastic in front of the apartment but if you travelled out to the dunes area it was unbelievable...
The resort itself had something for everyone but what we enjoyed most was walking down the seafront into the town and visiting the various restaurants/bars on the way..
The only time we had a problem was with the shop that sells so called designer sunglases on the main road into the town at the side of the nice ice-cream parlour..The ones I bought were later found to be fakes so just be careful....

It never rains here, we had two days of it nothing to do on those days. When the suns out no better place to be. Not far to walk to the sand dunes, fantastic views and breeze.
Entertainment in the town is very good as all the restaurants are top class good bars as well be prepared to walk miles, we stayed in the Riu Olivia in January 05 we here that this is due to be blown up due to no planning permission, exciting stuff eh!
