Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities
Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.

Try for pool view room. Some of the ground floor apartments at the rear of the complex didn't get any sun.

the resort is still developing and altho there is the waterpark i feel it is more suitable for older people at the moment. there is a market on fridays and mondays but it is very poor as against places like benidorm. we are not beach people but what we saw of them looked superb. i still think if you are looking for a good rest in warm sunshine this is a good place for a week, cannot say about 2 weeks as you might need to hire a car and tour.

The town and streets are very clean. Steak house on way down to Wakiki Beach is great value.
Theres not much entertainment for kids in town, but for the adults there is a jazz club at the top of the town this was fantastic. Would recomend visit to the sand dunes which can be reached by bus price 1 euro if that.
My mom and dad hired car went traveling found chipmunks living wild on the volcano said they were really tame.
Wouldn't recommend for the young not much lively. entertainment but would recomend for families.

The resort was really clean and seemed well maintained.
The resort entertainment as far as restaurants were good, although the nightlife is pretty quiet but that is what we wanted. There were a few football based pubs and a coupld of karaoke bars but no clubs.
We didnt visit the beaches there really as most of the parts we seen were pretty cramped.
I would definetly visit this resort again as it was a perfect place for a couple to enjoy eachothers company and have a hassle free time.

Correlejo is a great resort with lots to see and do. We would recommend hiring a car as lots of nice beaches close by our particular favourite was El Cotillo with it's lagoon style beach one side and surfers paradise the other.

The actual resort of Corralejo is a main strip with bars and restaurants running right down to the Harbour. We personnally thought the resort was dirty having to walk so far to get anywhere we noticed how grotty it actually is. The pavements look like they have never seen a brush or bucket of water, and there was quiet a lot of dog dirt on our hike into town.
The waterpark isn't very big, not many slides people rave about it but its salt water and the slides hurt when you go down them. My kids love waterparks but were bored and wanted to leave after a few hours.
We played Mini Golf at Baku one night that was very reasonable 17 euros for 5 of us.
We didn't go to the town beach it didn't look very good, we hired a car for 10 days, the sand dunes are a must we went past the 2 big hotels and walked across the dunes to the beach. These must be the best beaches on earth, the water was lovely, when the tide is out there are rock pools which the kids loved.
We also drove to Costa Calma beach which was fantastic.
If it hadn't of been for the Dunes we wouldn't have enjoyed this holiday. We may go back in 10 years time without the kids just to enjoy the beaches.

Resort is on an island that is still under development so in many ways it's still finding its feet.
There is entertainment if you look for it and the fantastically cosmopolitan Music Square surrounded by restaurants and with live entertainment.
Great resort for families or couples who just want to relax. Island has sun, sea and lots of surf and sand. Great!

The resort was very clean. The beaches were very picturesque. Flag beach was very windy and not really suitable for children. There were other beaches which were very relaxing with lovely sand and sea.
The shops were quite nice but many were selling pretty much the same stuff.
There were loads of restaurants to choose from. Favourites were, 'The Carvery', Mexican in the centre, A great Grill/Steak place, lovely food and great value for money. It's down a side road on the right hand side just before Poco Loco, which is another Steak house we tried but was not as good and served not very nice T-bone.
The spanish restaurants down the harbour were lovely. We also ate at Castaways down on the harbour but we were not very impressed.
The children loved Baku waterpark, ideal for the afternoon as they may have got bored if we had spent a full day there. It was very hot there too!
My Husband, Father-in-law and Son did the Quad biking expedition for 3-4 hours and they thought it was fantastic.
We went to lobos Island on a boat for 7.5euros for adults (children free). It is a gorgeous, quiet place worth doing for a few hours but strongly advise to take your own food. There was a restaurant there but there is no way we would have eaten there as it looked grubby and was smelly.
The local supermarket is Netto! Not very cheap either. The wine and beer in Netto is very cheap but food is quite expensive.
I was really pleased to see that cars did not drive very fast down the main street and there was lots of crossings which drivers stopped first time to let you cross.
The resort is great and again ideal for families. The only reason I would not go again is because we do not like to re-visit places.

A lovely place! Lots of places to eat and beautiful views! We ate lots along the sea front. Try the Salsa Thai, it's absolutly lovely and so are the staff! There's also a great pizza place in a little square it is small but very good!
The resort is busy and there is a main road that runs through it. Venture out though.... there is the most amazing beach only 10 mins bus ride on the no 6 ask for olivia beach. It costs 1 euro and is well worth it! The beach has golden sands and the water is so clear. There are big waves though. sunbeds are 3 euros each and the umbrella is also 3. If I had known we were going to visit so much I would have invested in my own umbrella as they are around 15 euros in the resort.
I loved it at the beach and it is much nicer than the one in the resort.
As a couple we did not go to any clubs but there seemed to be a few around. there are lovely restaurants and little bars to have some drinks in though.
Go to the island of Lebos also, but if you are going for the day remember lots of sun tan lotion, an umbrella and food. There is Nothing on the island and no shade. Boats run from the port on a regular basis for around 8 euros per person.
We also rented a car for a day. We explored the south of the island where there is a lovely beach. The roads are easy to drive on as there are only a few roads on the island! We then went back up the east coast where you can find the ship wreck of an old amrican cruise ship. Be careful you don't miss the turning though and don't think you're going down the wrong road. It's like a dirt track for about 2KM but it's worth the bumpy ride! Because the resort is in the west of the island you don't see the sun set, but we stopped in the resort to the east and sat on the beach watching the sun go down - beautiful!

The resort is lovely, not too hectic and not too quite, jusr right for us.
We have been several times and over the years it has become more commercialised but is nowhere near as busy as some places we have been to. There are plenty of shops and places to eat.
We ate at La Tasca (try the fuerteventura pizza) and Don Camillo III (try the chicken breast in mushroom sauce). The only drawback with Don Camillo is that if you go when its really busy which is any time after 8 the service can be at times poor but the food really is lovely.
The town is getting a little spoiled with touts on every corner trying to get you into their restaurants every time you walk by but I think its getting like that everywhere now when you go abroad. Please try the crepes from the quaint little man with the curly hair glasses in his little booth on the opposite side of the road from the mini golf and trampolines, they are delicious. We used to get one on our way back to our complex.
The beach in town is a little scabby in places (cigarette ends etc) but the beach near the dunes between the two large hotels is beautiful. You can get to this beach in a taxi for about 4 euros or so. The dunes are well worth a visit but take plenty of water as it is hot work walking through them.
All in all the resort is ideal for all, couples and families and we have been several times and love the place.
