Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.
Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities

The resort is brilliant and entertainment caters for all age groups. The beaches all over Fuerteventura are its greatest asset and have to be seen to be believed.

There is a beautiful small quiet beach 5 minutes walk away where my wife and I spent many a lazy afternoon sunbathing and swimming in the warm clear blue waters.

I cannot wait to return. I only hope the yobs and lager louts stay clear of the island.

The resort is great you are only a 5 min walk from the main street the only problem is at night there is rather large coakroaches which dont seem to bother the locals!!!!

A great place I would recommend for eating out is Blue Jeans it is very popular but in a narrow street coming off from the main street but you can ask the reps for directions!

The building work is not bad at all you can see the cranes but you only hear the occasional noise as there is hardly ever anyone working.

First time back in 11yrs and yes its changed as there is now a new town and old town which took alittle of the charm away from how I rememberd it.

But thats progress for you and after getting through the new town and all its new shops and bars selling all the typical stuff you get to the old town .

Now here you will find what its all about ,get your self into the old back streets where you will find the best food
and prices.

The small beaches it the town are ok if you just want a quick dip and a lie in the sun but for two euros get a cab to flag beach. Get out by the surf center and walk down what is one of the best beaches you will ever see .
No one here lying next to you or playing football right next to your towel.

There is miles upon miles of empty space and the sea is crystal clear. There are some even better beaches down south but why bother when you have this stretch of paradise.

Los Lobos - Don't expect MacDonalds on an unihabited island. If you take the ferry to it got to the 'restaurant' first and pre-order. It'll likely be Paella. Barren, windswept, worth it. Won't be everyones cuppa tho'.

SS American Star - shipwreck situated in remote west coast bay, very bumpy road, 4WD advised but i did it carefully in a megane. Go and see it before it falls over..you won't regret it.

Town Bars / food - pretty quiet when we went. We enjoyed Paddy's..Joey Mc sings there on Mondays and Thursdays and if you like Irish music outside boys own and the fields of athenry go see him. Restaurants to reccommend; La Tasca (pizza, pasta, etc) on the main drag, La Serena (traditional) set back off the main drag, there are an array of 'stuff yourself for 8 euro' chinese places, Slowboat is the best.

Dunes - awesome. Good beach by the two hotels on them but try further down as well.

Didn't do the day trip to Lanzarote as we've been there before but Timinfaya is worth seeing over there.

Only black mark goes to Baku Water Park...the enterance fee is just that...lockers, sunbeds, rubber rings, breathing, all extras :-(

We stayed in Corralejo Fuerteventura 3 adults, this was ideal as we only wanted somewhere reasonable to eat in the evenings, and relax which this provided amply. Would definitely stay there again.

Well where can I start. I have to say this is the best resort I have ever been to! The beaches are WOW!!!!!! lovely, clean, exotic - you could be in the Carribean!

There are plenty of sunbeds on the sand dunes but if you hire a car you can visit secluded beaches which are totaly untouched, just be aware of the nudist areas, they can come as a bit of a shock!

The main resort is one main strip of shops, restaurants and bars. Make sure you look down the side streets as there are a lot of brilliant bars which are hidden away.

The Atlantico commercial center is an area full of bars. You have to make sure you have at least one visit to "Flicks" kareoke bar. Even if you just sit and watch. The staff are fantastic and so is the cocktail list! When I was there it was buy 4 get 1 free!!! Lets just say we got quite a few free ones! A special mention to staff members Wendy and Cliff at Flicks who are fantastic singers!

If you like Chinese there are a lot of "buffet" style Chinese places but make sure you go into the Plaza center and go to the "slow boat 2" it is without a doubt the best chinese on the whole planet! The service is excellent and you even get a hot towel before you eat your meal!
Another place to try is "la taska" great for steak and pizza!

I cannot say too many bad things about the resort, mainly because there is not much there, the shops are as you expect. I wasn't too impressed with anywhere I ate, there are a few bars, but nothing traditional, there is a complex with a queen vic english bar, a dubliner irish bar, you get the picture....

The beaches are scattered along the coast, the further away you go the better they get.

There are two ships that sail to Lanzarote from the harbour, which is a good day out.

The really positive thing is that there is no "hard sell" when you pass bars and restaurants, although, its only a matter of time. The kiwi bar is quite cool.

Second visit to the resort and planning to go again next year. We took a 17 year old and a 9 year old and we all had a great holiday. Didn't want to get into the scene of going back to the same place but nothing else seems to match up. Next year our two other daughters aged 19 and 20 want to come along with a friend. Great complex and great resort. Very clean. Waterpark not completed but open and functional - pretty run of the mill.
Would like the market to be regulated a little bit more - most of the stall holders were very, very intrusive and it was full of dreadful fake designer stuff - really bad.
