Rooms to the right of the pool don’t get sun.
The deeper pool is the one that generally slightly warmer.

Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.
Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities

Try for pool view room. Some of the ground floor apartments at the rear of the complex didn't get any sun.

Great beaches and friendly people - Correlejo is one of our favourite destinations. The place still retains some of it's fishing town charm (for how long ??) and the best value meals can be found in the local tapas bars near the harbour.

This was a fairly lively resort with plenty of shops restaurants and bars (which had plenty of live music).

The harbour was pretty and it was really easy to jump on the ferry to Lanzorote, which we didn't like as much but it was still worth the trip.

The resort was clean apart from a few dead locusts and the beaches were nice and the sand dunes spectacular.

I would definitely visit again at some point especially for a winter break as the weather was hot!

We like the Spanish part of Corralejo surrounding the Bristol Playa Hotel and the Harbour area.

There is a very small beach on the other side of the harbour with good rock pools for small children to play in safely where a local octopus fisherman regularly snorkels. Also good surf here.

The pavements were full of dog droppings, but everything else seemed clean and well maintained.

The area around the Waikiki Beach could be any resort - full of Hotels, beach shops and English/Irish bars which we mostly avoided, but it is a good beach with golden sand and turquoise water.

The sand dunes have great beaches, best if you've hired a car so you can keep going to the best one at the end towards Port Rosario, however the red flag was up every time we went.

El Cotillo on the other side of the island has good lagoon beaches if you have a car and the wind is blowing onto Corralejo and dunes. Drive past the light house to find a quiet spot.

Correlejo was a great resort with a number of different white sand beaches. There was something for everyone here. There were many different restaurants including, Traditional Fish restaurants, Pizzerias, Indian, Chinese, English, you could even get fish & chips! There were many bars and pubs in the town, although there weren’t many clubs so this isn't the best town for a good nightlife.

There were a number of souvenir shops, perfume and jeweler shops, electronics, pharmacy’s, a doctor’s surgery and areas for the children.

The beaches were all very clean and the sea was great for swimming in, in some of the more sheltered bays. It is quite windy by the sea so don't expect your hair to look quite as good when you come home as when you went out.

There were a number of things you could do to keep yourself entertained including a water park, many different boat trips around Lobos & to Lanzarote and just sunbathing on the beaches as these were not as crowded as expected.

Overall the resort was great, although it was quite a quite area.

We enjoyed Corralejo. Went to Imagine Bar a good few times to see Eric play his guitar. He is a fantastic entertaining musician who often goes into his own world as the night prgresses.

Went to the Rock cafe a few times. Also to Castaways bar near the beach front. Plenty of guitar and singing entertainment in all three bars.

Most places seem to charge about 3 euros for a pint of lager.Ate out at mostly Chinese food places. Good value for money. Enjoyed Corralejo greatly.

Water park now open and charges different price for residents than tourists. This is next to market. Market very colourful and was called Ali barber and dellboy too many times. One needs to really barter to get a sensible price.

An Electrical goods shop in town centre selling post cards and stamps(next to the cafe with chickens being cooked on a spit) tried to charge us an extra cost on cards and postage stamps.

When I realised what had hapened and complained to the seller he said this was to cover his proffit. The beach near the dunes is a fantastic beach and daughter cut her foot but red cross stationed there were very helpful indeed. Life guards great. Sadly red flag flying most of our holiday in December. Ver windy island. Corralejo a clean place with lovely clean toilets everywhere.I would go back to Corralejo as i have before (this is 4th trip)not in December though. A nice place to have a holiday.

I've never seen so many Chineese restaurants in a Spanish resort!! There were so many that we vowed to stay away from those as we'd rather sample the local food and especially the yummy seafood!

This resort and the island is the quietest and least built up one and I must admit I expected it to be more idyllic than I thought it was and do actually prefer Gran Canaria to this one... This is also due to it being so windy. But lots of people love it here, so everyone ought to go and find out for themselves! :)

We have been back and for to Correlejo for the last five years usually twice a year to take in Christmas.

We love the resort and you are always spoilt for choice on the restaurant front try "La Taberna" not far from the harbour/beach.

The waterpark is now open we are looking forward to go back in July when they have a spectacular firework display on the small beach in the town they actually come out of the water!
