Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.
Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities

Try for pool view room. Some of the ground floor apartments at the rear of the complex didn't get any sun.

The resort was quite clean, and streets were cleaned on a daily basis very early in the morning. Plenty of bars/restaurants to suit most tastes. Not the sort of place if you want to go clubbing.
Always had a bit of banter with Howard and Darren in the Dubliner bar and our chaps liked the Imagine bar with Eric.
All in all a good holiday with good weather and great company.

We tended to use the beach on the dunes - just past the big Riu Hotels. We also like El Cotillo.
Corelejo is great in the evenings - plenty of restaurants (a few too many Irish and British pubs - but these can be avoided as many of off the beaten track or in basements)
4th visit -- can't wait to go again.

Been before. Will go again lovely beaches by Riu Oliva and further round the bays.
Great surfing lots of friendly surfers some trouble with locals surfers but to be expected. One must is the sand scupltours, just amazing.
Will be going back June.

the resort itself was clean and had plenty going on.there were trampolines bouncy castles for kids and live music in the food square and outside restaurants.everything is based on a very long street so you can go down one way and walk back the other so you dont miss much.dont rate the beach in the resort much it was small and rocky and not very nice really the olivia beach was lovely and only cost a few euros by taxi.would go again to corralejo

Like most up and coming resorts in the areas of the Canaries, Correlajo is still being developed, this was mainly taking place on the outskirts of town so we were never bothered by construction noise.
The best restaurant we found was the Poco Loco steak house, by far the best food we ate during our stay.
Visiting the sand dunes is a must buses are very cheap and reliable and cheaper than a taxi.
If using Airtours, do the 3 island excursion by yourself, much cheaper, we had a bad experience on this excursion and would not recommend it to anyone!
Definately go on the excursion to the zoo, is about an hour and a half by coach but one of the best days we've had really enjoyable.

The beach is tiny as alot of the coast is rocky. There's only a small promonade for those of you who like to walk along one unless you fancy walking out of the town (it's not even in the direction of the sand dunes). For the best beaches you need to get a taxi or bus or walk about 2 miles to the sand dunes. They looked nice as the transfer from the airport drives through them. We didn't bother going as I get bored of the beach and things to walk around and there's nothing once you're there.
I've never seen so many Chinese restaurants in one place though, the resort is packed full of them! A good few pizza places and a few stakes houses too. The best place we went to is called the Waterfront. This is the only place we felt valued as customers as it is owned by a Scottish guy (I had the best meal during our stay there too). Nearly all the other places we went to the staff were rude which I have never known before from the Spanish.
Go to the Teguisol, Costa Teguise in Lanzarote, it's so much nicer!!

Resort is mainly based around one 'strip' of bars & restaurants called Main Street. Restaurants very varied but everything seems to close down about midnight, apart from a few bars. Best bar we went to was The Stables which has karoke quite a few nights and a free bbq on a Friday. The best beach to go to is near to the RUI Hotel, next to Restaurant Diana which is good for lunches.
Resort was a bit quiet for us - may possibly go back for one week rather than the 2 we had initially booked for.

Could not fault corralejo. It was a wonderful holiday.
The entertainment was amazing. Singer & Guitarist Howard Moss from Ireland was playing in corralejo while we were there, so too was Eric Sypestyn at a wonderful venue called IMAGINE.
We had never seen Eric before and he is an outstanding musician. The resort was excellent, the food was pretty good, the people were generally friendly and we would certainly recommend Corralejo for a holiday. We will return!
