Bit of a trek from the airport. Approx 1 hour taxi ride.
If you like a quite relaxing resort with a great beach, then this is the place to come. Beach is amazing, white soft sand goes on for miles. It is a nudist area and there a a few about, but you get used to it.
Take care in the sea as we saw two people rescued when we were there.
Not many bars or restraunts to choose from. One english bar "The Boot & Ball2. Great frindly service and Sky Sports. Otherwise the bars catter more for the Germans

The resort area was clean.
The resort entertainment seemed ok - an on-site entertainment team appeared to keep the young children amused and happy.
The beaches are beautiful.
I would never visit this resort again it is totally remote and there is no where to escape to - and we desperately wish there had been.

Jandia is an area rather than a town. it depends which part you are in if you are near entertainment.

The resort is fairly quite but it has enough small shops and bars should you need them.
The beach is lovely and vast but beware the winds are very strong and at times can feel like you are being sand blasted. We didnt seem to find many facilities close to the beach so if you intend to spend a whole day there it might be a problem.( toilets)

We didn't visit the old village of Morro Jable, just the new development described as 'Jandia'. This has the usual mix of tourist shops, bars/restaurants and penny arcades.
Much of it seemed to appeal mainly to the German market, not surprising as, apart from the Spanish, there were more Germans in Jandia than any other nationality.
The beach below the hotel was pleasant but generally very windy. An essential investment is a windbreak or a beach tent, both of which could be bought cheaply in Jandia.
There was some naturism (we always assumed they were Germans but couldn't be sure) but it wasn't common enough to be a problem for us or the kids. We never saw any flags flying on this stretch of beach nor did we see any lifeguards and yet the sea was a fair bit rougher than we experienced in Menorca, which had both flags and lifeguards.
There was always plenty of room on the beach and the tide didn't go out very far.

Jandia is lovely and the beaches are gorgeous. There are a few bars and restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed visiting. The african market is worth a visit but remember to barter!!

Jandia is a very clean resort there are lots of restaurants and bars in the town.
The beaches are fantastic miles and miles of white sand, spotlessly clean so much space no one is ever on top of each other no matter how crowded.
My husband and I have visited Jandia twice now and would definitely revisit.

I've been to Jandia 3 times and the best thing about it is the beach. It is truly superb.
Other than that, it's your standard 'tat' shops and bars and restaurants. Still, it's clean and a nice place.

Fairly limited entertainment although the beach is very nice.

The resort itself was nice but a bit of a trek to get to the beaches.
The sea is lovely, it is rough but good fun.
