Rooms were cleaned 5 day a week to a high standard. Can't comment on the food as we ate out but it looked ok. Bar prices quite high 300 euro's a pint,200 for half.

The entertainment is aimed at the kids but they do work hard and do a good job in that respect. Hotel staff were polite and curteous and spoke very good English.

None of our party would visit this hotel again as we were on "cell block D" rooms D105-D107. A 6 foot fence to the back and easy access from both ends, secluded and quiet makes this an ideal place for people to be robbed or worse and I can easily see why all the doors had marks on were they had been forced.

I told a head rep at the welcome meeting and he sarcastically asked if I wanted another door. A pensioner, who was in our group, had her passport, camara and money pinched on the second day.

On another occassion young girl went into her apartment during the day only to find a man going through the family possessions. Imagine what could have happened.

To the front is a high hedge so someone could force the door and not be seen. This set of blocks is full of drunken yobs who seem intent on spoiling everyones fun. The tour companies must know about these problems as the comments on this review sight go back to 2002 and no one say's "I felt safe and secure and could open the patio doors without been robbed and what a good nights sleep I had on D block"

Well what a great and exciting holiday we have encountered at the Sunwing Playa Ingles!

The food is excellent, well worth the money as we went half board!

The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and easy to communicate any problems you had!

The swimming pool facilities are 5* quality and the rooms were extremely clean (five days)

I would recommend family single or large groups to visit this resort.

It's more than a 2 star rating I've been there ten times now!

The heat there reaches 40 degrees which adds to the excitement this hotel has to offer!

We were able to have sheets and towels changed daily, as we had a lovely lady who cleaned the apartment spotlessly.

Although we went self catering the food we purchased was fine. Not english sausages at breakfast. Prices are very resonable. Ok the hotel is just out of the way but a five minute walk gets you to most places. 2.5 euros gets you to most places by taxi.

We found all hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Entertainment is mostly for young children, it was nice to sit at the pool bar to relax.

We had such a good time we will return.

We were very woried having read some of the reviews before our arrival.

On arrival we were allocated to the first floor on D block. We did have some noise from the road nearby and some noise at night from other holiday makers but no more than you would expect at a busy resort.

There was no problem with security and we felt safe at all times, no problems with `yobs` this was a family orientated resort. The apartment was very basic, could have been cleaner on arrival there was hair in the bath plughole from the previous occupant, however the maid cleaned 5 days a week and the sheets and twels were changed daily if you wished.

The apartment was very basic and did not live up to the four star rating in the brochure. Plenty of hot water, TV expensive to use and we had aproblem with ants .

Food in La Tasca bar was very basic. Reps and hotel reception staff very helpful.

No air conditioning even in public areas of hotel meant that the bar was very hot in the evening.

Just got back from the Sunwing.

Allocated a room on D block not as bad as some reviews said.

Rooms very basic you do need a fan as no air con.

Pool a good size with plenty of sunbeds

Hotel was a minter!!! I was only 16, im 17 now, it was awesome for people my age. Me and my mate met loads of people, and loads of girls!!! Good for every age though, proper chilled out like. Good food, good location, nice pool and friendly atmosphere. Loads of british people so that is a bonus too. Im going back defo!!!

We have been to Sunwing resort twice and have been very impressed.

Cleanliness very very good here and we were most impressed with the food an exellent and veried menu everyday from am to pm.

The staff are always pleasent and helpful and entertainment at night for all is great.

Taxi service is always available and cheap from the resort door.

We arrived at Sunwing at 4.00am to be told we were in the dreaded D Block on the ground floor, this made me extremely nervous to start with after all the reviews I had read.

We were in D104 and D105
At 5.30am I had to go and get security as there was a large group of yobs opposite and above us that were non stop screaming. Give the security guard his due, he was straight up there and stopped it.

Went to the welcome meeting which was ok but seemed a bit rushed and we got really confused filling in our excursion forms.

On our first Monday we did the Jeep Safari ( I had expectations I suppose I shouldn't have after a Jeep Safari in Salou the previous year) Our driver couls speak no English and the trip was very boring for the first 5 hours. It was ok after that but not much to shout home about.

The Timafayan Cruise was ok, however there were so many children screaming all the time it was a bit difficult to relax. The food and entertainment were really good. I do think there should be an age limit on some trips though.

The trip to Tenerife "Loro Park" was long but a lovely place and a good day out.

The Medeival Knights and Reps Cabaret were brilliant and well recommended.

Sioux City was ok but the show was a bit boring and you were left to your own devices for too long beforehand, also although there was a free bar, you try getting to it with 2000 other people.

The apartment was cleaned 5 days a week and the maids were really good, clean towels and bedding too if you wanted.

Our patio was extremely small and backed onto a wire fence beside a busy main road. It was quiet noisy. You could't sleep as there was no air conditioning and the temp was 39 degrees but you could'nt keep yopur door open either so it was unbearable.

The cooking facilities left a bit to be desired, probably their way of getting you to eat in La Tasca (This was ok for the first few days but after that very boring) The staff in La Tasca were a bit moody).

Also there was supposed to be a half boatrd restaurant that you could upgrade to, we were told it was closed as there were not enough residents, this was apalling.

The entertainment was ok, mostly for younger kids until 10.00 but not really anything for a 12 year old.
Taxis are soooo cheap we used them all the time.

The beach was lovely but the sand is so hot you can't stand on it. There is a free bus to the beach but it is not green and white as they say but a coach with Maspalomas on the side.

You should eat at Finnegans (near Prismar centre)about 2.50 euros in taxi. Excellent choice and portions you would.nt believe. After that go to Shennanigans down the road, quizzes etc after 9.30, lots of free drinks to be won and a good laugh. Don't wear white socks with your shorts though.

Reps were quite good in the resort if you needed them.
If you go on a trip to Anfi, beware it is timeshare but is a beautiful place. If you are thinking of buying and you will and they offer to move you down there the reps get a bit stroppy. I find this a bit strange as they encourage you to go in the first place.

I was really pleased as despite my earlier worries I did not get one cockroach in my room.

Beware the African women in the Kasbah, they grab your arm and tie a band on it then demand money and get angry when you won't pay. Then they curse you which is why I think I became quite ill and missed a lot of my holiday.

Sunwing Apartments in Playa Del Ingles - This was very disappointing.

The brochure does not make it clear there are two different ares and if you are allocated block F then you are behind a 8ft hedge to the front and look out onto a 10ft wire fence at the back .

The apartment was dirty and shabby. It was not big enough for 3 adults and 1 child. The doors in the kitchen area were hanging of the seats were broken the bathroom light didn't work the bedroom small window didn't open. The patio area was on a public walkway and there was insufficient furniture for the size of my party. Every surface was sticky and the apartment smelled of damp.

Not a holiday l would recommend.

The Sunwing hotel was great, the location was very good as it is situated near many of the main shopping centres.

The entertainment in the hotel was definatly the best ive seen, there was something different every night and the entertainers were lovely. Also the entertainment during the day was very useful and fun.

The hotel itself is very nicely set out and is also very clean. The appartments are also nice and clean. The pool is very big with two separate parts.

Overall this is the best holiday Ive had so far and I would definitely go back again.
