We thought it was excellent accomodation, very clean and comfortable rooms. Both the Hotel and the Tour Operator staff were friendly and helpful. The only down side to the stay was during the first week (the last week of the school holidays) we found it difficult to get a sun lounger but as soon as the children were back at school there were plenty of beds free. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay again in the future.

Although we stayed in 'F' block we were within a few minutes walk to the main entrance. The whole resort was well located and had ample taxi services to the local area and further. the excursions that were offered were excellent and would be proud to reccommend them to anyone staying at this resort, Sunwing Resort, Gran Canaria. Hotel staff were very helpful, food was of a good standard and plenty of it, entertainment suffered as the reps has to please alot of people with varied tastes, not an enviable task.

Just got back from here last week stayed for a fortnight and wish i hadnt! Biggest problem was no aircon it was hotter inside the room than out it really is bad!
We stayed on D wing if when you get there they say thats where you are ask for another area as your on ground floor (most broken into) dodgy patio doors looking straight at wire fence which is on a main road. you wont really here the noise if your door is closed but then you can't breath.
Everything is in one room beds and kitchen so if there is more than 2 of you you won't be able to move! And your 3rd and 4th beds won't be made up you do that your self. And ants are everywhere you also have to put money into tele 1 euro gets you half an hour. If you do get a fan its 18 euros a week cheaper to buy one which i do strongly recomend.
On our 1st night a girl was rapped and police called our bathroom door fell off and when turned cooker on electrics blew!
Reps entertainment is rubbish really rubbish,bar is expensive compared to all the other bars, kids are served ale one kid was plastered every night.
If you eat out just as you come out of the sunwing turn right there is a really cheap place just on that road that serves lovely meals and on the corner there is a guy who gives you a leaflet that gives you 10% off! That is the only good thing about the holiday.
Sunbeds aren't a problem if you go at this time of year but there is still plenty of kids everywhere!
If you do get a patio door the best thing to do is move your table against it on the right so that the door can't be slid open, as your garden isn't private at all people were always walking into it whilst we were sunbathing and there was people being robbed when we were there!
oh and if you go on the jeep safari which is great book it at harrys bar its nearly half the price of the reps and you get to meet Mr T you will see what I mean. good luck!

We have stayed in these apartments 3 times and are going again in August this year.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff are always willing to help, the facilities are in good condition and well maintained and the location is perfect.
We have really enjoyed all our stays here.

Just returned home this week. Had a brilliant fortnight there. Superb accommidation. Clean apartments. Location was excellent as there was plenty of shopping center`s and bars and entertainment within walking distance. Reception staff helpful and spoke english. Airtours reps were very friendly and worked hard. Entertainment provided by the reps was terrific and you could see that they had put a lot of hard work into it. Food could have had more variety but apart from that it was excellent. Only criticism was that we had to get up early to get a sunbed. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definetely return to this hotel again. Many thanks to staff for a great holiday!

We booked a late deal and we were allocated the Sunwing we have just arrived back from a week at this complex. Hotel cleanliness is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and professional. There is a restuarant on the complex which is fairly cheap but food is not of a good standard. Hotel itself was a 35-40 minute walk to the beach but there is a free beach bus from reception. This is a Kids club hotel which entertains children up to eleven years there is an escape club for 11 to 16 year olds that took my two moody teenagers Camel Riding and to the Aqua Park. There is no air conditioning in this hotel and we tried to hire fans at the reception to no avail we ended up having to purchase two from a local shop at the cost of 40 euros I found this unacceptable for a higly graded hotel- there are televisions in the rooms with Sky Sports and News but these work out very expensive- During your welcome meeting it is suggested that sunbed towel dumping is monitored dont believe it you will have to be on a sunbed at approx 8am they are like gold dust and people actually came to blows over the lack of sunbeds on our visit. There is entertainment provided by the Airtours reps every evening following bingo and throughout our stay the entertainment was excellent. The hotel itself is isolated and unless you want to stay in the hotel there is not an abundance of bars and restuarants within walking distance. We had fantastic weather but were disapointed with the facilities and would not return to the Sunwing

Hotel fab, this was our first holiday so we were worried what the hotel would be like, but we couldn't have wished for more.
We were on the top floor, a royal room which had everything you could need in it, microwave, fridge, iron & ironing board. TV with movies on every night, hairdryer and safe although you have to pay 18 euros per week for it, but it's worth being safe, pool view.
La Tasca is great and convenient for snacks during the day.
Pool fab really clean a bit noisy with all the families that were staying there, sunbeds were a bit of a nightmare had to reserve one early, some people reserved them but never used them so that is a bit unfair and needs to be addressed.
Staff at hotel were great as were the reps. Went on the catamaran, Aqua Park and Garbo

Sunwing apartments is a great place to stay. It is a large complex and has a good size pool. The children made loads of friends and were occupied all day playing in the pool.
The shop in the Sunwing was the very reasonable with a good choice of ice-creams. I didnt try the snack bar myself but the children did and said it was very good and reasonable priced.
Entertainment during the day was very with organised water polo in the pool. We weren't too keen in the evening entertainment, but it seemed very good for families with younger children. We prefered to go exploring in the evenings anyway.
With only a fiftteen minute walk down to the Yumbo Centre we managed it most evenings. We somtimes went further down towards the beach where there are more bars and restaurants. It is very cheap to catch a taxi back about 2-3 euros.
We would definitely go back to the Sunwing apartments.

Would not recommend.
Our room had a problem with cockroaches from day 1 but once we killed them then army of ants put pay to their disposal.
Our fridge stank for a week after we found it wasn't working and a weeks worth of food had to be destroyed. We reported the matter to reception several times and nothing was done. We had to refer to our spanish dictionary to inform the cleaning maid before anything was done.
The fight for sunbeds was unbelievable make sure you are up at 6.30am to place towels then keep guard. People were reserving sunbeds for children that never used them and were reluctant to give them up. Staff made no attempt to stick to the rules of not allowing people to reserve sunbeds.
We got into an argument with one holiday maker. When we were not down to sit on sunbeds after reserving them, at 6.30am due to my daughter's eardrum bursting the day before, she took it upon herself to swap our sunbeds with her broken ones moving our bags etc. When an argument started the staff made no attempt to sort out the problem.
The Germans were lovely it was the British that seemed to forget where they were from!!
We went to Harry's bar II every night as the entertainment on site was dire.
Accept timeshare reps offer to visit Anfi resort but buy nothing, just get the free tickets to various parks for a cheap day out which should have cost
