We found the staff to be very helpful, accommodation spotless, pool area cleaned every day and accommodation secure with no break-in's. We were there in August. It's true about the cats. The tip about the lollipops is excellent. If you don't want to be hassled by Timeshare reps, don't walk hand in hand with your partner! (They are looking for couples.) Stay away from the African ladies wearing traditional dress - they fasten wrist bands to your wrist, then CHARGE you to take them off when you say that you don't want one!! One last thing - visit Amadores beach. It costs about two pounds in a cab (though you can walk around the coast) and it's definitely worth a visit.

Good clean But as expected basic accomodation - ideally located but slightly noisy at night - 2 mins from shops, bars and restaurants. Public areas of complex very clean and tidy, pool area excellent as well. Reports of burglaries and dirty conditions in previous reports on this site are i am pleased to report now untrue, however it is obvious improvments have been made at the complex. TIPS - Take lots of loose change cos you have to pay for the t.v, don't buy bread cos there's no grill or toaster to do toast, and finally be prepared to be hassled by PR's to go into their bars and restaurants(probably the worst part of puerto rico). Overall good place for families, we enjoyed a brilliant holiday!!!

Contrary to the comments above these apartments were excellent, they were clean there was no graffiti and as far as I was aware no break ins. I would recommend this resort and apartments to anybody. The only thing I will say is that it is very noisy at night as you are right in the centre of the nightlife.

We stayed at the Arizona between 18th June - 3rd July and although we were not broken into we had a pair of shorts and a surf bag taken. The pool area was slippery and left in a disgusting state as it wasnt cleared from the day . We didn't feel our rep was very helpful and was ill advised on several occassions. We were not allowed own food even crisps by the pool try explaining that to young children! Although the resort itself was a wonderful place and we would return to a another complex
