Hotel very clean.Location and views very good, staff lovely.Entertainment fab will stay at this hotel again.

An inexpensive holiday. Hotel rooms a bit dated but lovely and clean.
1050 steps to beach but taxi's really cheap. Paco childrens entertainer amazing and very hardworking, 5 year old loved him and made full use of childrens club and disco. 18 year old enjoyed herself just as much.
Food and restaurant very nice, although by the second week we decided to eat out a few times as can get a bit boring.
We all had a lovely holiday, wouldn't go back to Puerto Rica purely because we like to try different resorts each time. Would recommend though.

The apartments were clean, just the furniture and decor were a bit dated in the rooms. The views from the rooms were great you couldn't ask for a better view.
It was a long walk down to the bottom of the hill but taxis were cheap enough to get back.
Hotel staff were lovely especially the bar staff at night. We properly wouldn't go back to Rio-Sol just because of the location
There were 15 in our party as we had a member of our party who was forty. On the day of her birthday the staff were good and especially the bar staff at night and the entertainment.

Have stayed in the Riosol eight times in the last Ten years and noticed a steady decline. Last January we decided we would not go back again

The hotel is great we have been there 4 times now and would go back you know nothing will change it will always be clean and the staff go out of there way to help you.
One time the lift broke down and they picked us up and took us to reception (in a car!)
Hotel location is good because it is easy to get taxis (if your half way up the mountain they tend not to stop) paco was really good kept children really busy.

We were half board the food was fine not to everyones taste but with meals being so cheap if there was something on the menu you did not fancy there are plenty of other places to eat.
The hotel was superb really clean at all times.
The hotel is at the top but has fantastic views and I know there are a lot of steps, but the taxis only cost 2 to 3 euros.
Hotel staff are very friendly will always speak. We did not see a lot but we heard it was ok.
Yes we would return back to this hotel we think if it had air conditioning and the pools were slightly bigger it would be a four star easily.

We stayed at the Riosol on half board basis for one week. First impressions of the hotel - great. The reception area was very clean and modern, apartment was cleaned 5 times and bedding changed 3 times. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and the balcony was fantastic with spectacular views over Puerto Rico Bay.
The food was ok - the hotel had a different themed night buffet - which we thought was a bit much - it would of been fine if we didn't mind what we were eating. (ate out a few nights)
The staff were friendly and the children's entertainers were brilliant. (well done Dave and Paco)

This is apartment complex in my view is one of the best in the area. Anything requested we got and without delay.
The rooms are big and very clean and the complex is very clean.
The location is very high up the mountain, the taxis are cheap and the view is amazing.
The staff are friendly and the entertainment was brilliant. So much effort was put in by Paco. Well done to him.
The only fault I had was the food wasn't to my taste but that was us and not the hotel, it was well laid out and very clean.

This was our first time at the Riosol and would definately be our last, the food was awful and we found that we went out most nights. We would have gone self catering if we had known it would be this bad.
The hotel had some clean areas, but we found that the towels we were allocated were old and threadbare and actually bought a load of cheap ones to use whilst there. Nobody warned us of the location and the steps to the beach, along way from the main areas, although I have to say Taxi's were cheap enough to get us back up the hill.
We found some of the restaurant staff had a very poor atittude towards customer care and could not care less about how they treated you. The entertainment team were brilliant in the evenings and full marks to them for being the only good thing about a truly terrible holiday.

Hotel is very clean and maids are brilliant, they come 5 times a week. Sheets and towels are changed every 3 days. Did'nt see many staff about, only 2 at the pool bar, indoor bar was always closed and only 2 at reception. There is no air conditioning in the complex and you cannot book your room on the last day, you have to use there luggage room for 3 euros each and a 10 euro deposit.
There are 2 pools in the reosol. One is for the hotel and one for the apartments (Well thats the way it was soposed to be)
For the kids there is a games room which has 3 pool tables, air hockey, computer games and a sweets/drinks machine. Very hot in the games room and it is usually very busy.
There was seats outside the restauraunt but most of them were coned off till 8pm.
If you wanted to stay in the hotel i could not see any difference in the rooms. They are mixed in with the apartments and i think the only difference is that you get your meals. The hotel rooms still had a kitchen, a kettel and a toaster.
If you are self catering you can go half board by paying 14 euros per person and day but i would not recomend that because the food is very basic and is only a buffet.
The buffet is differend everyday. Its either Canaraian, arabian, international, german, english, french or a barbicue. It is in a differend order in the second week if you stay that long.
