Had a super holiday,with view of sea from room,marred only by failure of staff to clean the room properly, I looked under the bed and wished I hadn't! Sunbeds locked overnight,released at 9.30am,not enough of them,resulting in queue starting as early as 8.15am. On a self catering holiday cooking area totally inadequate, but excellent and cheap restaraunts within a hundred yards.
Location excellent,kettles and toasters free subject to deposit.Pay TV in each room. However one member of staff could have been a little more co-operative at times, and a little more polite. Would go again but take my own dusters and cleaning cloths.

If we had any problems in our room, we went to reception and they got someone round to fix them.
It was not a top quality complex but the kids club and their night entertainment was good. There were different shows on every night and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
That is why we are going back next year.

The staff was well funny.
I pick 3 stars on cleaning because the two stars that I have not put on were cockroaches. The other 3 were a cleaner coming in every day.

My wife and two children stayed here for one week and, although it was not the worst holiday I have had in my life, it was certainly the dirtiest accomodation.
I agree entirely with the report posted by Sue.
There were cockroaches in the bedroom, in the main apartment and also in the bathroom. I woke up one morning to find one of the things crawling in my hair!
The bathroom was shabby and the whole apartment needed a revamp because the fixtures and fittings were in a bad state of repair. Even though the maids came in to sweep the floor and change the towels every other day, it was obvious that's all they did - they certainly didn't dust the wardrobe shelves because the top one was caked in dust.
The location of the apartments was excellent. The hotel staff were average and the hotel did lay on entertainment for the kids on a night. The hotels pool and other facilities were good. But for us at least, the good points were outweighed by the lack of cleanliness in the actual apartments themselves.
Regarding some of the other reviews - all I can say is that hygene standards vary considerably if some people could describe the actual living accomodation as 'clean'.

Despite reports that the appartments had been refurbished, the only thing which seemed new was the laminate flooring. The kitchen and bathroom units were very shabby, and there was a funny smell in the bathroom, a bit like blocked drains. We weren't too disheartened though, as we got the holiday last minute. We would have been if we had paid anymore for the holiday.
The comments regarding the haphazard visits by the cleaning staff were well founded.

The cleaners came into our room every day except wednesdays and thursdays, their days off. We got clean towels every day, they made the beds, swept the floor and cleaned the bathroom.
Everywhere else within the hotel seemed to be kept clean, the toilets by the reception, the reception area, and the gardens.
We found the food in the hotel to be up to standard with plenty of variety to suit everyone, there was only one night when there was nothing we liked so we ate out.
The location of the hotel was ok only a short walk to shops and bars and about 10 mins to the beach.
The hotel staff that we dealt with were friendly and helpful. We did not stay in the hotel for the entertainment we didn't fancy any of it.
During the whole week of our stay we only saw a couple of cockroaches, none in our room though. Cockroaches are part and parcel of the canary islands.
The first part of our week, the hotel was very quiet but began to get busy with families during the second half. I got the feeling that the staff will not be able to cope during the high season and can see the hotel going down slightly, but not as bad as the comments of last year.
