upon just returning from the hotel adeje beach i can say our party enjoyed the whole two weeks we were there. we thought it was tantastic. we were very worried on reading reviews before we left and also speaking to a few couples on arrival who were complaining about everything from food cockroaches pool you name it, which then didnt put the female members of our party in a good mood so it was cases up kids in pool and we decided to try the hotel bar, the master brewer. well reveiws said this beer was like water i can safely say no and also t can vouch for the voddy which was consumed in considerable large ammounts.
well after a few in the brewer we decided to go and get changed and risk the food. again no need to worry,
dont get me wrong there was not a lot to choose from but there was was lovley usuall spanish fare fish meat potatoes veg chips salads puddings deserts etc etc, as i must tell every one this three star not five star , if you want five star pay five star money we heard people moaning about the food left right and centre why i dont know one of our party wore holes in to the floor with how many trips he made to the buffet.
the staff were spot on again we read reveiws that the staff were ignorant and so on not at all if you make time with them they ll have a laugh with you so much so we had one of the waiters up on the karejoke on our last night who had finished work an hour before and decided to have drink with us and he couldnt speak a word of english.
we heard people moaning on the following ...
too hot ? food ? coldsores ? pool ? dirty ? staff ? couldnt get answers in pop quiz ? cockroaches ? noise ? kids enetrtainment ?
let me give you our answers on the above too hot go to lapland. food, try something you might like it, colsores, use sudacrem, pool, you have to get in it to enjoy it, dirty, not at all, popquiz, did you have to pay to enter, cockroaches, saw one all holiday in hotel complex kids enetrtainment , day sun and pool night karejoke take that tribute singing shine shows enough said.
what i think it is with some people they decide they arent going to enjoy it even before they set foot in the door and hopefully might get a bit of compo on return but this hotel is typical three star we made our own entertainment and had a great time do the same and smile an everlasting smile your on your holidays.

Having read some bad press about this hotel, we were a bit worried.
We needn't have been, the Hotel is in a great location, and is near to some great bars/shops, its also handy for the Aqua Park, and isn't too far from Tenerifes new Siam Park.

We were all inclusive and although a bit "samey" there was always something to eat. plenty of variety

Hotel rooms are more than adequate, and were cleaned regularly, although bedding could have been changed a little more often, not a major gripe though.

Poolside bar was very handy and the kids never went without food or drinks...hot dogs, burgers, toasties....ice creams.

Staff were friendly enough, they were even more friendly if you make and effort and actually tried to speak a little spanish.

Evening entertainment appeared to be good, although we didn't actually use it a lot as we have friends with a bar 100 yards from the hotel (The Rumpot) Highly recommended.

Beach is not too far away (if you know the shortcuts)

All in all a great holiday, and the other holiday makers all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

the hotel is a lot better than we were expecting after reading the reviews on here, and we'd definatley visit this hotel again

We stayed at the Adeje beach on an all inclusive basis. This is our 8th visit to this hotel. In many ways the hotel has been improved but not in all area. The rooms have not been touched (not even a lick of paint)
The hotel is clean, the staff work tirelessly to keep things clean, just a pity that some of the guests are like pigs and leave such a trail of mess behind them.
The food shall i say was so so, There was a good selection of food but unfortunately is was always cold, even if you were the first people to walk into the dining room. On a good day it would be luke warm. If you can manage with that then you will be ok.
The hotel is situated in a good location, just a 5 min walk to the beach. Away from the night life but only a short walk away if you want it.
The entertainment!! Well if thays what you can it, a cd played on a loop. THATS IT!! A bad cd at that.
Although we have visited this hotel before on many occasions we feel that this will be our last visit. With nothing for the kids to do in the daytime anymore (apart from the pool) and the rubbish entertainment at night. We'll probably visit somewhere else next year. If you are looking for a quiet holiday this is not the hotel for you. People seem to just let their kids run wild in the evening while there sat in the bar, kids are playing in the lifts, running along all the eight floors of the hotel screaming their heads off sometimes going on till after 11pm (which doesnt sounf late, but it is if youve got young kids) Unfortunately the hotel staff did noting about it in the whole 2 weeks we were there.

This is the worst holiday I have ever been on. The only good thing I have to say about this holiday was the rooms were clean but you only get clean towels twice a week.

We got told the hotel was two minutes away from the Veronica strip, but we had to pay 8 euros there and 8 euros back.

Also I am a really fussy eater and we got told that there was plenty of choice but there was actually about four things to choose from.

The full holiday was just a disaster the only good thing was the night life. I would never recommend anybody to stay at this hotel. I actually dreaded going back home after a night out or going back to the pool it was that bad and we ate out everyday day, so we lost all our money really going all inclusive.

I really don't recommend anybody to stay here as you will not like it and there is no entertainment at all and you have to rent a kettle or toaster or anything like that if you want one which is 15 euros!!

Overall I wouldn't even give this hotel a 1 out of 10 except for the cleanliness.

the hotel was spotless could not fault it the maids came in every day and cleaned the room, the sheets were changed only once which could have been more but we could live with that. we had plenty clean towels which were changed twice.

the food was excellent they had good choice and lots of lovely salad, i went with 2 very fussy eaters and they both managed to find things to eat.

the staff were all very friendly and were all helpful, if your not ignorant with them then you will be treated the same.

the entertainment was good, there was a different show on every night we seen a drag act, singers, dancers, snake show, parrot show and more the only thing i will say is that i felt it started a bit late for the kids not that they mind staying up late.

The hotel is just under 30mins from the airport, there is no road noise apart from the odd motorbike. We booked in very quickly, and had all the details of the hotel explained in clear English. We had a late flight and did not arrive at until 11pm, we had a room on the 7th floor with pool/sea views. The room uses a card to enter and then has to be put in a slot to keep the room power on (we were given two cards). We had lounge with a sofa and pull out bed that had fold out legs to get it off the floor, there was a small kitchen though no toaster, kettle, microwave. We only really needed the fridge and sink as we were all inclusive. There was a separate bedroom with two 3ft beds that we pushed together as our bed our daughter used the large sofa and our son had the pull out bed, all of us were very comfortable and it was nice to have separate rooms. The bathroom had a full size bath with shower. There was a balcony with patio set that we used every night (great view and music from the pubs over the road.
The hotel staff were ok and understood what we wanted.
The food was good with a good selection and was hot and refilled regularly, you can get drinks at the bar in the resterant and only have to ask if there are no staff at the bar, the people that were abusive were ignored
There are two swimming pools(quite a few kids feel over it is very slippery and the tiles get hot so you tend to move quickly), there is a small gymm, jucuzzi, pool tables, a squash court, small disco area.
On check out you can ask for a card to access the case storage area, this also has toilets, showers, kitchen, sofas, eating area, we had an 8pm pickup and made good use of this facility.

We went on holiday as a group of four girls looking to have a good time but also to chill out, this is exactly what we did!

The ride from the airport was short we had a late flight so we were very tired when we arrived. The night time receptionist was very helpful and kind and dealt with us quickly, he spoke English so this was also good as we were all rubbish at Spanish!

Our room was on the fourth level which was the main level. We were right next to the pool but still out of the way which was good. We had an amazing view of the sea and the landscape around us. The room was large enough for all us girls and our luggage which is saying something! It was nice and clean and the beds were comfy and the bathroom was big which is what you need for girls!

We were told that the hotel was in Playa De Las Americas but it is actually in Costa Adeje. This did not bother us though as we were away from all the crowds but still close enough to get a taxi and have a great night out! We were a five minuet walk from a shopping arcade and a ten minuet walk from the beach! This was amazing but very hot sand!! We were also a five minuet walk from the Aqua Park which was very handy!

The food was good, it was cooked really well and was nice to eat, our only problem was there was a lot of food with fish in it and sometimes it was very alike from the previous nights. It did not bother us much though as there was always ice-cream to have!

The pool was good, the sides were very slippery and hot but it was ok. The bars were great they were not stingy on their alcohol!
We found most of the staff were amazing and we made friends with quite a few of them even when they did not speak English! They taught us a bit of Spanish as well as us teaching them some English!

The curtsey room was adequate for our needs and was hand for keeping our stuff in as we had an 8 o'clock flight. Only problem was it was cold water!

All in all we had an amazing time we have not been back long and are already missing it, we are defiantly going back again next year and seeing all our amigo's again!

this hotel does not cater for all inclusive as it says, you have to pay for most things.
the food, entertainment, rooms, staff were all diabolical.
there was no entertainment for the kids through the day or night apart from one lady who would play pool games with them every other day but that would only last 10mins before she disappeared but by then the kids were just getting into it.
the rooms were not cleaned or the beds changed for days on end, we had to keep asking for toilet rolls as they were not leaving u any.
the food was always the same and sometimes either not cooked properly or burnt.
the staff were rude and unhelpful.
the only thing this hotel has going for it is the location.

We travelled to this hotel end of August 08 and after a week we wanted to come home. On arrival we was greeted by a male receptionist who was polite and helpful and was quickly allocated a room. The room was clean but in the morning we noticed that it was infested with ants. The receptionist said the cleaners spray ant killer everyday.. what a joke!!! We got use to the ants every morning as its seemed they was only intrested getting water in the morning from what could possibly be a leak somewhere in the bathroon and they was gone by afternoon.

We thought the food was nice at first but if you like Chicken, Pork and Fish it does get to repetative and this is the same dishes everyday with the exception of meatballs ans spag bol every other day. We ate out alot after that because the food never changed and was cold on many occasion and when you find a roasted cockroach in your gravy in the pork dish it does put you off!!! Also check the vinegar as small flies are fementing at the bottom of the bottles.

The entertainment for children is a joke and after 10 minutes the lady who tries to gather the children together does a magic trick by vanishing herself. The kids are bored all the time and the swimming pools are filthy, there is mould at the bottom of the pools and a green scum mark all around. We had problems the first few days with ear and throat infections and diorrheoa.

The jacuzzi is full of algae and stinks of mould when you turn it on. The gym has the equipment but most of it is broken and the pool tables are also broken with balls missing. The playstation 2 upstairs in the tv room only plays a football game which you pay a euro for 15 minutes and is contantly crashing.

Some of the staff are friendly but most are rude and ignorant. The bar staff are also impolite and on the balcony area which is supposed to be open until midnight you get a lights out at 11.15 then told to leave at 11.20 and if you don't move a security guard tells you to move.

The entertainment room is in the cellar with big post holding up the floors blocking any view to the entertainment which only last for an hour and the disco is an even bigger joke with the same four songs being played over and over again. (Crazy Frog we are the champions, German song called Thatcher, some other annoying song and the birdie song.)AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!! The compare/DJ is good though.

You have to pay for the cushions for the sunloungers, kettles, fans and a few other things then once 11.00 o'clock comes you pay for all your drinks.

The snack bar is the only bar open in the hotel during the day up until 6 o'clock and it's disgusting. the microwave which warms up the pizza is filthy and their is no hygene carried out by the staff working there. I noticed one picking up rubbish off off the floor and another scratching his bottom and sniffing his fingers and both didn't wash their hands. I never ate from there again.

My daughter was in the downstairs internet room and their is a glass partition which seperates the kitchen staff from this room. My daughter who was on the internet turned round to see a man flashing his penis at her, if I had found that man there would have been trouble.

Like a lot of people have said the staff are rude and arrogant and only a few are reasonable. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel for families would certainly not stay at this hotel again. Whilst we was there a lot of people had complained and so did I.

Just one last word about the pool area which was cleaned once a day the area is very slippy when wet and a few tiles are raised with sharp edges which can cut your feet. This was reported to the reception but was never fixed whist we was there.

i have never ever stayed in an hotel self catering and been asked to pay to hire a kettle or toaster. I think the hotel is very badly managed.

There is no pushchair access to the pool, which if you have children under 4 years old is essential.

the door to the hotel is an accident waiting to happen. ok it is very good that it is automatic, but it also opens automatically when a child goes near it. There is a very busy road just outside the hotel!

I found the staff very miserable and unhelpful and did not want to go out of their way to help you.The location of the hotel is perfect and so was the local bar opposite.
