Location
Got to the hotel seemed nice enough from the outside but when you got closer it was very dirty i.e
dirty cutlery, parasols and outside furniture, and inside furniture for that matter.
Staff rude except 1 waiter (not to be named)
Food wasn't very nice. had to go out for food most of the time as sometimes it wasn't even edible. Everyone complained.
Entertainment not that good
Drinks a bit over priced but went to a nice bar in town for 1 euro.
Wouldn't go back to this hotel unless it has a serious renovation.

Food is very good for this standard of hotel with plenty of choice for both breakfasts and dinner - only complaints really are over a bit of blandness in the food but always enough choice (7 or 8 hot dishes plus a couple of roasts plus a good salad bar inc cold meats and such as tuna) for us. Trying to find cups and teaspoons is difficult and tables were not always promptly cleared. Dinner is served 6-10pm but if you want a good choice of desserts then go by 8.45pm and they are really good.
Our room had a separate lounge area, bedroom and well fitted bathroom and was always cleaned to a high standard daily. We had no air conditioning but room could be kept cool by opening windows/patio door when sun was not shining directly onto the windows.
Entertainment in the evenings was a bit holiday-camp style but good fun anyway! No-one could fault the entertainers for lack of effort or enthusiasm.
The pool area can be busy at times and my pet hate of people "booking" sunloungers from early morning then not using them for the majority of the day, I find particularly annoying and regard as extremely selfish of those who do it.
Hotel is well located, only a short walk from the harbour and beach area and shops and many restaurants and bars. Having paid a short visit to Las Americas, I am glad we chose Los Cristianos!!
We would definitely visit this hotel again, probably returning there for 2 weeks next time.

When we arived we were pleasantly surprised, the reception was very well presented and the staff polite and helpful.
We were on one of the upper floors and the lifts I am pleased to say were fully operational for all of our holiday.
The room was large and clean and had air conditioning. The bathroom was huge.
The room was cleaned everyday.
The food was better than we expected, some of the dishes were cooked in front of you and we didn't have chips once!!!
There were plenty of tables and the wine on sale was good value.
Breakfast was OK, with a wide selection of cooked food and cereals.
The main bars were only a short walk away, but far enough not to hear them, many had entertainment, and if you get the chance to see the Billy Idol "look a like" at O'Flaghterys he's brilliant.
The Royal Oak is just to the right of the hotel. They food is great and they show the "soaps" every night, if you like to keep in touch with all the goings on in Corry and East Enders.
We are definitely going to go back and couldn't fault either the hotel or the resort.

Yes the hotel is old and needs refurbishing, but it is clean and the staff in general take a pride in their work. We complained on two ocassions and the problems were rectified quickly and to our satisfaction.
The entertainers (Arianna, Marta & Nico)worked hard and always managed to get a response from the clientel. Spanish lessons tutored by an Italian were a hoot, but everyone learnt something.
The biggest complaint we had was the state of the lifts, they only worked when they felt like it. ON check out days people were walking down stairs to get the lift up to their floor. Of course some tempers were frayed. The staff did their best to overcome something that Noah installed to get the animals into the ark, by letting people use the service lifts.
Would we go back again? Most certainly.

Breakfasts were not to bad, if you could find a table that had been cleared. Staff seems to be in short supply. The biggest problem for us at this hotel were the kids running riot with of course the parents blessing.
We stayed in on quiet a few nights it being January it can get cool at night, listening to the organ player and watching the couples dancing but someones little darlings soon spoilt the evening by running through the dancers screaming blue murder. Where were the parents? Sitting watching of course. When the music had finished it was great fun to run up the steps to the lifts then slide back down the disabled or case ramp, all this accompanied by screams from the little girls and great bellows from the boys.
Well there we are, good hotel poor food but holiday ruined by the Brits.

Sure the hotel looks it's age but that just gives it character. The staff were helpful and efficient at check in, the food was very good which is one of the things that worried us as my father in law who was with us is 95.
The entertainment was a bit naff but the 3 hotel entertainment staff tried hard and were enthusiastic, all things considered this was a great holiday.

Pool side dirty, Had to resort to cleaining our own balcony due to it being covered in bird poo, bathroom also smelt of sewers.
Hotel Food - Common Greasy Cafe!
To be honest 1 star over rates it. You had to clear your own table, set your own table - due to only about 3 staff working, 1 of these was the maintience man. It was so hot that staff were dripping sweat. The cafe smelt disgusting!
Breakfast - Struggled to find a table first couple of days but this began easier through the week as less people began to go in due to it all being awful. Lettuce, Beetroot, Sweetcorn, Chips all on for breakfast! Struggled to find a clean plate, lack of cups.
Evening Meal - Basically the same every night, just as poor as breakfast. Very rarely warm enough to eat. Pork and Chicken on every night!
Reception were rubbish. Due to leaving the hotel at Midnight we had to ask 3 times if we could keep our room. We then went for a fourth time and she then decided to say come back at 5pm (this the same receptionist that said come back at 12) after discussion she did it there and then which took 2 minutes!
Can't say much about the entertainment as we spent all our days in neighbouring apartments which have stayed in many times but was fully booked.

When we got to this hotel I thought it was a council block of flats waiting to be knocked down. This Hotel is not even worth a 0ne star rating never mind a 3 star. It was old and shabby it was a nightmare to get a table at breakfast and dinner time, god knows what it would be like in high season. There was dirty plates waiting to be used along with craked cups. The food was a joke in fact we eat out after just two days.
Things did'nt get any better when we went to our bedrooms the mattress was the most noisiest I have ever sleeped on I complained three times but got no joy in getting it changed. There was also a smell of sewers The best thing about this hotel was when the bus arrived to take us to the airport.

From 7am in the morning the work would start. We complained but staff did not want to know. The balcony was covered in pigeon crap which was cleaned once after complaining again, but was back to normal after one day.
The food was barely edible, bacon and eggs uncooked, beans sloppy, chips for breakfast, presentation of the food were awful looked like it was thrown on. Dining hall looked and presented like a works canteen. Only good thing was the entertainment.
Couldn't wait to come back home.
