When we arrived we found our room had no view whatsoever except of another apartment. We couldn't see the sea at all. From reception to our room was a walk down a steep slope and about 10 minutes walk. It was a nightmare on our arrival trying to hump cases from reception first of all down two flights of stairs and then the steep slope! I felt sorry for anybody in a wheelchair.
The pool was way down the hillside. We had to use a lift and then two flights of stairs to get to it.
The pool itself was clean but the poolside was filthy. Paper bags, paper cups and plastic bottles littered everywhere.
The complex was at the top of a very steep hill, not for the faint-hearted! It was ok walking down but we had to get a taxi back every day.
Food was bland but the weekly barbeque was good.

The Laguna Park II must have been a great place twenty years ago, now it is tired and in need of refubishment.
The rooms are large and if you have a balcony facing the resort you'll have a fantastic view but thats the only good thing about these apartments.
The bathroom continually smelt of sewage, there was a very limited supply of hot water, the lamp shades were full of dead flies and the walls had stains on them that we wouldn't like to guess what they were.
The hill is as bad as they say, but a taxi is only 5 euros to the centre of Playa. The entertainment wasn't too bad if only very late going on.
We wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you paid very little for a package.

Hotel was clean although furnishings had seen better days.
Hotel is located at the top of a steep hill, ok on the way down to town but beware,inhaler needed on the way back. Staff were very loud it was impossible to have a sleep in. Reception staff were very good. entertainment was ok nothing to get excited about. for a basic holiday this fits the criteria.

i totally disagree with anybody who says this place was a dive, the staff were fab. There are a lot of steps and they could not do enough to help,(baby in pram)
