We were self- Catering and the apartment was spotlessly cleaned everyday by the maids. The hotel was in a suberb location just a couple of minutes walk to loads of shops , restuarants & Bars.
The staff in the hotel were very friendly and couldnt do enough for you.
The entertainer Cara was fab , she put on some fantastic shows, 2 every night. The entertainment was so good that people from other hotels came along to watch it.
I was a little concerned about this hotel because of some of the reviews I had read but I can honestly say we had one of the best holidays ever.
I cannot understand some of the negatives Ive read about this hotel because with our experience it just wasnt true. We travelled with 2 teenage girls and they thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. We were self-catering but had a meal at the outside pool bar one afternoon and the food was very reasonably priced and very nice.
I would definately recommend this hotel to everyone because it has something to offer all ages. The only negative is that the pool was freezing cold. We will definately go back to this hotel again!!
Well done to Cara you do a fantastic job!!

The location was spot on it was close to the beach and all the shops we only had to walk round the corner to find English restaurants.
The staff was very pleasant and spoke good English the entertainment with Cara and Bobby was brilliant different shows every night the kids loved it and so did me and my hubby.
We're are booking to go back in next year.

The cleaners was in everyday and left us clean towels and did the bed sheets too
The reception staff was always pleasant and helpful
The entertainment was great with Cara and my kids loved her. There was always great entertainment on at night and it was cheap to drink in hotel too at night
Our room was on the ground floor and no noise bothered us at all at night
The rooms are very big but the only fault I had was there wasn't any drawers to put anything in you only had wardrobes
My daughters Chloe, Courtney and Leah want to go back there again this year and I am looking to get one sorted for them as soon as possible
The staff at the hotel was very helpful and pleasant

We booked this last minute, 4 weeks before departure, with Direct Holidays and got a good deal on the price, however having checked the price of staying here next July, compared to the 4* hotel we were in this summer, which was also in Tenerife, the hotel on a half board basis comes out cheaper.
Anyway, we were in room 326 on the 3rd floor, which overlooked some other apartments at the back. The balcony doesn't get any sun because it is at the back, however it was a blessing in disguise as the rooms don't have air conditioning so I can imagine in the summer it is really hot. When we were there the average temperature was 25C and it rained on and off for 3 days and was still really warm inside.
When we arrived the infprmation in the room said that the maid din't come on Friday and Tuesday, however when our room had been cleaned on the Tuesday but not the Wednesday, we realised that they had changed the days when the cleaner didn't visit.
I would advise on taking your own towels for the bathroom however. I always take my own but my fiance uses the hotel ones. I don't think they wash them very well as even he complained about them. Once they are wet and you have used them once they smell like a cross between urine and sprouts, which in turn makes the bathroom smell as even if you leave them on the floor or in the bath as you would usually do in a hotel and the cleaner would change them, here they don't, they simply hang them back up for you to use again.
The shower head was a bit crusty and had lots of brown limescale on it and the water went cold after 2 mintues due to the only form of hot water being supplied by a small electric boiler in the corner of the kitchen by the sink.
If you are planning on cooking your own meals or breakfast the kitchen is kitted out adequately enough with pots and pans, a stove top kettle, coffee perculator, cutlery, glasses and crockery etc. They supply 1 teatowel for you which they don't change for you during your stay. My fiance was fiddling with the freezer to chill his beer and pressed a button in the fridge which then defrosted the freezer so we had to mop the mess up with the tea towel which we left by the sink and was never replaced with a clean or dry one.
The grounds were kept pretty clean and we didn't see a single cockroach. I might also add that in the past 7-8 years of visiting the island I am yet to see one in any of the accommodation I have stayed in.
The entertainment (Cara) was a bit dodgy and she did everything from karaoke (hog the mike) to bingo calling, kids entertainer, Cara as the Carpenters, Cara as Cher, Cara as bad singer. We never actually watched any of the entertainment but you couldn't help hear it from your room when getting ready to go out, however I think they finished up around midnight. The only thing I would advise is try to request a room that isn't on the ground floor.
As we were self catering I can't comment on the food but when coming in from the beach at around 5.00 you could see that most of the food was already laid out in the dining room.

The apartments were clean but could do with a kettle and microwave. The complex is really safe with security walking around and our teenagers loved it. We went self catering but there are plenty of restaurants and bars our favourite being the all you can eat chinese buffet. We are hoping to go for a week next october again.

The biggest let down at this hotel is the entertainment, it kicks off around 7.30pm and does not stop screeching until midnight - way past my childrens bedtime - but because of the offending racket being so loud we were all awake until midnight - and we were lucky ones- we had a room at the back of the hotel - if your room is overlooking the pool you have my sympathies. The entertainment consisted of Cara doing Madonna, and other tribute bands the worst of all was Billy Idol. He was so bad, he would have been funny if he hadn't been so loud. However, if you have no young children and like to stay out late, run to the hills and don't come back until after 12am.
The other problem, was the groups of children 9 - 14 years who thought it was great to run around the complex until after midnight, playing a commando version of hide and seek with volume, also jamming the lifts was another great game as it set off the alarm. We did report this to management and it stopped for a couple of nights. Don't know why they were being allowed to do that - I wouldn't let my kids out of my sight in a foreign country especially til midnight.
That said, the hotel does have a lot of good points:
We found the food to be good, always a choice of about 5 different main meals each night, got a little bit samey towards the end of the week but what you would expect from a 3* hotel.
The place was kept spotless, including the grounds, they seemed to have an army of cleaners who were everywhere. However, as someone else mentioned their towels do smell stale when wet, even the freshly laundered ones, we took our own towels though so it didn't bother us.
The rooms do not have air-conditioning and as it was 30 degrees out there - we needed fans - but again I took my own as I was not paying 30 Euros per fan to hire one.
Hardly saw a cockroach at all, and only a couple of cats around.
Staff were efficient but not very friendly. We had a broken balcony door and that was fixed within an hour.
As this hotel was advertised in a family holiday brochure it was a huge issue to us with the entertainment going on til midnight, the hotel needs to make up it's mind what group it wants to target and stick to it - instead of trying to please everyone and failing miserably.
After a week of little sleep, and a tired, irritable 5 year old drama queen to deal with - we could not wait to get home. The entertainment should finish at 10.30pm, or better still, just not start at all.

This is the second time we have visited these apartments.
They were spotlessly clean and the grounds well kept.
The pool was cleaned every day and the surrounding area was jet washed.
We travelled outside the apartments for our entertainment as Cara and her many acts did not appeal to us having encountered some of it last year.
The only down side to our stay was the poor lifts within the complex, having been stuck we opted for the stairs.
Security is very good especially Juolio who kept the younger guests in check after they returned after a late night out and would also accompany you to your room.

The maid service was terrible - the bathroom was not touched by them in the 2 weeks we stayed there.
There were very large cockroaches in the bathroom - and we were on the third floor. However they did leave clean towels every couple of days.
The reception staff [mostly men] were very rude.
The entertainment was truly awful - we have visited many hotels with resident entertainment teams and this was by far the worst, really dreadful and much too loud.
We spent as little time as possible on the complex, we visited the pool area on the first day and there were huge cockroaches scuttling about under the sun beds - ugh.
If we had been travelling with children we would have moved from these apartments on the first day.
