We stayed in this hotel over christmas and new year in 2003 with a party of 16. The hotel in its self was excellent, it was very clean and more than sactisfactory. The hotel staff were very polite and made the holiday very enjoyable. The entertainment was very well thought out and although it wasnt the best it was worth a laugh and well presented. There was lots of other things that the children could do such as go on the internet, play in the games room, go swimming, or what i thought was a good idea was to go and see a movie in the day, and also many other activities. The food was more than excellent and there was plenty of it. And we were so happy with hotel that we have all booked again for 2004 and we are all looking forward to going again.

Just returned from Flamingo Oasis 14/10/03 travelled with Thomas Cook. Flights were great, the hotel was excellent, loads for the kids to do with the mini club entertainment team who were brilliant with the kids. Lots of activitys like shooting, archery, mini golf, french boules, darts loads more.

The food was excellent plenty to choose from there was always a carvery at least once a day with beef, pork, ham and more. Plenty of choice for the kids, loads to drink. The kids could have pop, kids cocktails, milkshakes and the bottled water was included. We also had sky movies, ch5, sky sports in the rooms so the kids could watch tv while you sort youselves out.

The rooms were cleaned everyday they were big enough for a family and air conditioned.

At night there was a kids disco then a quiz then a show usually put on by the entertainment team. All the shows were good some were quite funny and they like to get you involved.

We were originally going to go self catering at the Picasso Aprtments but I am so glad we changed it. The hotel is excellent and the food and drink are also well worth it and if you see the Picasso you will know why.

So if you want a good all inclusive holiday definately go to this hotel we will certainly be going back hopefully next year.

This is the first time I went on a all inclusive hoilday. I really enjoyed the hotel, all the staff were friendly. It was always clean and tidy. Meal times were excellent. However ice creams for the children was not free only at dinner times. Its fair walk to the coast from the hotel (i.e children and elderly people). The entertainment was very poor, they had a karaoke that seemed to finish really early and it is the same for when they was playing music at the pool side. Entertainment inside the hotel was totally crap. The only thing I would say that they would need to improve on is the entertainment. You pay for an all inclusive holiday and end up having to spend more money to go out and enjoy yourselves.
The entertainment staff, none of them seemed to know what they was doing. It is just like going to one of our coasts for an holiday of an evening.
Apart from that the holiday overall was good.

This in my opinion was a 4 star hotel with 1 star guests.

I am no snob but there were many people expecting to get into the restaurant for lunch/dinner with bikini's/shorts on. I saw the same people wear the same clothes every day for a week.

This hotel is great if want to let your kids run riot like most did whilst we stayed there but ours were not allowed and we were seen as wicked party poopers by them. We was actually told by one 10/11 yr old that he'd get his dad to kick sh*t out of us as we objected to them pushing in front of us at the lift. Nice family!!!

Lovely hotel, food excellent, drink ok, pool area too small for number of rooms, lifts are an absolute joke! and there is nothing crazy about the crazy golf.

Make this hotel have a stricter policy regards parenting and it would be fine. Chav's should not be allowed!!

I hate to be a wet blanket but I had to be really truthful. We have just got back and this is the only holiday that I have ever had that I would not re-visit.

We decided to go because of the good reviews but I regretted it...
The reasons:
The entertainment was rubbish at night.
The staff are really unhelpful and glum faced.

My sons gameboy was pinched in the hotel. You cannot, repeat, cannot get one sunbed if you get up any later than 7am.

The theme nights were not really themed, really bad food
I'm sure the wine is re-corked as it is a different colour and tastes different every time. The lifts keep getting stuck, my husband had to pull a screaming woman and child out of one lift whilst the maintance men were shouting at her in Spanish to shut up!

I hate to say all of this because I long for a holiday every year and enjoy all of them except this one. It wasn't really really bad but there was too much wrong with this hotel to really enjoy it. I have always been all inclusive and this is the worst one yet.

Travelled with Portland Direct - I stayed at the flamingo oasis in July 2003 with my husband and 2 children. We thought the hotel rooms were large enough for 4 people and the balcony was great with enough space for a table and 4 chairs and still room to walk about!

The food was excellent - we really couldn't fault it at all. The kids loved the special childrens food menu and the staff in the restaurant were brill. The pool area was great although the jacuzzi wasn't working and the pool side snack bar served chips, burgers and sandwiches throughout the day.

Entertainment was plentiful although probably a bit too much bingo ! Only one thing spoiled the hotel and that was some of the British holidaymakers - they were so rude to the staff at times it was embarrassing. We had great value for money and as absolutely wonderful time - We would definately go back.

Got back from holiday on 18th of June 03 after 2 weeks holiday with my pregnant partner and 2 year old daughter.

Could not fault hotel in anyway whatsoever, entertainment team good, pool brilliant and food better than average.

Sorry I have one fault and that is the football pitch which has a tennis court on it which has 2 posts concreted in for tennis net, so while playing footy you had to be very careful not to run into it. One 50ish year old bloke split his head and nose open and blood poured everywhere, so be careful. Carlos the lifeguard is a professional water polo player for Spanish team and plays every day he is good to watch.

Lager tastes awful after 2 days but strongbow cider is included in all inclusive. Get up early for sunbeds about 8am and don't leave beds at this time or you will find towels on outdoor stage. 25 floors with 6 lifts which can be a nightmare if kids press buttons on every floor!!!!!

Hotel is spot on, mike, steph and justine.
