This hotel has s set in a great spot, out-of-the-way; get in the heart of the resort, just a 10 minute walk from the bars and nightlife, and a ten minute walk to the beach. The interior of the hotel is clean and modern after a full makeover, though the guest rooms have been kept simple yet stylish. The communal areas are stylish and there is a pool and terrace area to enjoy.

I think we went at totally the wrong time, only entertainment more or less was bingo every night. Not too far from all clubs and bars.

As for maids well every time I went back to my room everything was slung under bed or screwed up in wardrobe not exactly what I'd call cleaning then they have the cheek to complain and call you untidy lol I had to laugh at that.

Hotel is in a good location though and the reps are always there if you need help.

We stayed at Rio Park Benidorm as a very last minute holiday(the evening before).

Always said would never go to Benidorm - Hotel was clean - food very good - staff excellent. In fact I would stay at this hotel again (I hasten to add not in the height of the season, but definately as a early or late holiday).

This was a cheap weekend break for us and we warned before hand not to go to the Rio and we really should have listened.

This is the hotel that gives Benidorm it's bad name. It's Blackpool in a large, dirty, smelly, noisy tower block.

Been to Benidorm loads of times as this by far the worst hotel I've ever been in.

You might as well have stayed at home, it's just entirely British and just not nice, as simple as

The food was undercooked, I think it was steak it might have been the chef's shoe I was eating, the restaurant crowded and dirty and the staff about as helpful as a brick wall.

The rooms were not air conditioned, had laughable attempts at balconies and bedrooms and were just very uncomfortable generally.

The pool area was alright, quiet but quite messy

I don't understand why anyone comes back here. It says it's 2* but its blatantly not, this is clearly a place for TUI to dump its unwanted cheap and AOA customers

AVOID THIS HOTEL, GO ANYWHERE ELSE! STAY IN ALBIR OR FINESTRAT AND TAXI IN IF YOU CAN'T GET ANYWHERE ELSE IN BENIDORM...THIS PLACE IS A DUMP

We have stayed at this hotel several times from 1985 to 2003 and feel it represents excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is spacious and clean and the food is good. The only criticism I would have is that on Gala night (Wednesday) there are so many non residents dining there that guests have to queue for ages at the buffet and it can be difficult to find a free table.

The Rio Park has a good atmosphere we have stayed there 3 times and would go back anytime. The rooms are Very clean, the bathrooms are lovely and always nice clean towels. Benidorm is what you make it...Quite or lively. At least at this resort its all there for you to pick and choose.
I would recommend the Rio to all ages, the food could be better but I could always find something to eat. I have been S/C in beni and you do get sick of shopping round for meals, although they are very cheap.
Everybody complains about waiting for the lifts, but us Brits wouldnt be happy if we couldnt moan about something, and it gets all the guests talking to each other..which makes it a friendly place to stay

Excellent hotel, excellent food, in plentiful supply. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent choice of hotel especially if you have kids with you. Probably the hotel with the best pool area in Benidorm. Plenty of room and plenty of loungers/sunbeds.

I have been to benidorm 6 times in last ten years and stayed in the Rio Park three times. I found it excellent value for money and all the staff were very friendly. The entertainment is very British. If you want Blackpool in the sun, then this is the place for you!! The staff's rendition of the full monty is not to be missed. They were all good sports.

Hotel Rio Park enjoys the reputation of having the friendliest hotel staff in Benidorm. The hotel's director, Jose Miralpeix Martin, is always on hand to ensure that things run smoothly in all departments. He also takes personal charge of the hotel's entertainment programme, which usually has something for all age groups.

Internally and externally, the property is kept very clean.

Buffet meals service is excellent, and also attracts a large number of non-residents. The staff are exceptionally helpful and caring with any disabled or handicapped guests, or anyone with special needs. Although the hotel is not 100% wheelchair friendly, many disabled guests return here year after year, simply because of the attitude of the staff.

UK hoteliers could learn a lot of lessons from The Rio Park !
