Not much to say here really I think that earlier in the year when everything is open it would be quite lively, though in October everythingi s closed, plus it rained for nearly our entire stay.

a typical spanish resort, very clean and tidy, the beach is narrow and very steep though sloping down to the water, not the best for kids paddling, locals seemed okay apart from the odd shopkeepers who like to follow you around the shop, obviously all of us brits are shoplifters, but all in all we give blanes 7/10

the resort is clean as far as spain goes although prommenade a bit dog pooie
the entertainment is very low key not many shops you need a car to explore further a field
the beach gets very deep very quick and not very good for toddlers pebbley beach
overview would recommend the resort for campers loads of sites here. I love most of spain but i think the north is looking tired and in need of an overhaul. The marina is worth a visit early afternoon watching the boats and fish market.

Blanes suits us. Not too many of any one nationality to dominate. Plenty of Spanish holiday makers to so that you know you are in Spain and not Blackpool with Sun! Huge beach, good roads and trains service so easy to get out and about.
Try the Restaurant Bahia on the front. Worth it just for the antics of the Maitre Di! and great food as well.

Blanes is a lovely family resort. It is very clean and flat. There are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. There is a childrens fun fair and crazy golf course at the Los Pinos end of town, close to La Masia.
The beach is clean and the sea is beautiful. However, the beach is shingly and really hurts your feet! There is a good train service and it is easy to visit neigbouring resorts.
We would happily return to Blanes some day.

The resort was lovely all we did was go for walks or go on the beach .Some times my dad would book some places too go to .On sunday we went to marineland and it was good.
When we come back from their we got dressed and went out round blanes and go out for dinners i thought it was the best holiday of my life.

Blanes is a pleasent resort popular for all ages beach is cleaned daily though in places shelves steeply, plenty of bars and restaurants .Blanes is still a working port and town and the old town still has a spanish feel to it with some good tapas bars hidden down back streets but well worth searching for.Visit the fishmarket about 5pm where the public are welcome to walkround a balcony and watch the days catch being sold at auction, they even have a bar up there with great views of the sunset. Not for those looking for an 18-30 holiday.

A 'buzzing' resort with lots of wonderful resturants.
The beach is wonderful - you never run out of speace and it is cleaned every night. The sea is beautifully clear and lifeguards provide added reassurance.
A wonderful holiday resort for people looking for a more Spanish holiday - it is not overley English and the old part of the town seems untouched by tourism.

We usually try to visit for the firework festival, seven days of one hour fireworks, just a brilliant end to the day, the resturants are brilliant especialy the bahar in along the prom.
The beach does become very busy but if you go out early and just stay a couple of hours and then go sight seeing its brilliant, very clean and the other people on the beach are friendly.
We always buy a couple of lilos at the beginning of the holiday and give them away at the end. Swimming is easy as long as your aware there is a sharp drop about 10 meters in.
