The resort of Calella is not too bad but we found it a little too quiet but then again we went the back end of May and have to admit we are used to and like the entertainment of Benidorm. I have to be honest if I was taking children on holiday with me then this resort is ideal with the crazy golf and bowling.

Didn't see much of the resort through the day as we were sunbathing but the nightlife is good. Went to the White Horse when the free drinks stopped in our bar. Good laugh on both nights. Third night went to Molly Malone's Irish Bar. Not very. We had to ask for them to put Irish music on. As we were driving home passed through Santa Susanna which is much nicer.

Callela is a lovely resort and ideally located for travelling the Costa Brava area (airport 45 minutes one way and Barcelona 45 minutes the other way). The local transport is very accessible, the noddy train as we called it can get you to anywhere you want to go especially the main train station.
The main shopping/eating areas of the resort are all along/off one main street, about a mile long which is lovely to wander down at night, as no-one hassles you (which is refreshing, as any of you who have visited tenerife will relate to!!)

This resort was a loverly area. with some great british bars. Beach buy club/bar being a must for almost every night

callela is very good to stay in the town, or jump the train to any other resort of your choice. good shopping and entertainment if you know were to go you only need to ask anyone

The beach in Callela was lovely couldn't moan about that at all very clean.
The area had plenty of shops and resturants to go to and eat if you didn't want to eat at your hotel plenty of choice cannot fault this at all.
