The resort was quiet, lacking in bars and restaurants I felt. It was extremley quaint and picturesque, especially the old town. The beach was pretty, the sea could be pretty rough though so take care.

The resort is quite busy, and bustling. There is a lovely narrow street that goes on forever, full with shops and places to eat. Few bars had Karioki, but this is all.The beach is very clean as is the sea,but freezing cold water and stoney beach not soft sand. We booked an excursion to Barcelona.Very quick siteseeing stop off's,quite dissapointing, but three hours to look around the shops.Universal studios trip is a must. On the whole not a bad little place for a young family holiday, you get what you pay for!!

The resort was very clean and in the morning all the local shop keepers would help to keep the resort clean but sweeping their area of the street. There was also plenty of bins around to help stop littering.
Their was plenty of pubs, clubs and bars.
The beach was nice and kept clean and there also plenty of life guards and beach bars but the sand was a bit to gritty although it was nice as it didnt get everywhere.

Calella is a very busy resort which we are going back to next year. Plenty of bars, restaurants, discos, and hundreds of shops make this a really great place to holiday. We will be going back next year.

Run down and shabby in need of updating. Too many bars and restaurants turning out the same food year after year.
Won't be returning

the resort of calella has lots to do, there are lots of bars and shops for you to visit, and the entertainment is good for all, young, old and families.
there is a train line that runs along the coast and you can jump on a train to barcelona which is about 30-40 mins away, the trains are frequent and clean. the beach is shingly but nice. for a good all round holiday this is the place to go!

The beach was excellent can get a bit expensive hiring sunbeds everyday with brolly but you can buy these at the start of your holiday in the local supermarket for only a few euros.
Plenty of resturants and pubs that you can take the kids to on the early part of the evening. If the kids get bored there is a bowling alley and at the same place you can play crazy golf. The putting sticks start from 3yrs up and there is also a lovely restaurant from which you can watch the kids play.
