If you are ever going to stay at this hotel make sure you are fit and very healthy and don't have any breathing problems were you need to use inhalers, the road from the front up to the hotel should be named as Coronary Hill as this hill could lead and cause a person to have a heart attack, the side of the hotel where we where it was always in the shade, and another thing is advisable to bring earplugs because you find when people come in late they can be a bit nosy taking no thought for people trying to sleep, and people argueing during that time of the morning....

Food rubbish
Nice location, take you’re own healthy/good food, food atrocious, poor quality
I had wind and upset stomach first few days
Problem with room temp in some rooms so pay more for poolside.x take a mozzie spray and spray your room..those wee bleeders can ruin a holiday.Good wee bar called Lilly Langrtys across rd if your hungry at lunchtime.good food and cheap beer!

I would imagine in the main hotel top tip just have B and B as there are plenty good restaurants around the hotel another good tip book a different hotel.

There was nothing really do do here all the restaurants seemed to be squashed together and food not great, if you sit outdoors your on a plastic table and chairs.

We went in May and found it really lovely. Quite a few Spanish on holiday but that made it feel like we really were on a Spanish holiday rather than Brits abroad!
Lovely marina but pricey. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants.

Just returned from Benalmadena and thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is my third visit to this resort and will go back. Plenty of bars, good bus service so that you can visit Torremolinos and Fuengerola and other surrounding areas very easily.
Marina is beautiful to walk along, although expensive to eat and have a drink there but plenty of bars in surrounding areas that are cheap. Good market on a friday at 'aroya' and a nice small town to have a drink and something to eat.
Would definitely go back.

I have been to benalmadena 7 times with my friends and family. I really enjoyed capones karaoke bar, the staff there are really friendly.
There is also a bar called the canny cabin where the adults can sit and have a drink and a chat and the children can play pool or table football.
My favourite resturaunt is eduardos, the staff are very friendly they have conversations with you. The food is brilliant, so brilliant that nanna moon from eastenders has been there!

Benalmadena Costa has everything you could want. The beach is excellent, the promenade is long and flat and bordered by bars and restaurants.
The tranport links are excellent. It's 10 minutes or so drive from the airport. There is a station at Arroyo with trains to both Malaga, with links to the rest of Spain, and to Fuengirola.
Arroyo is the commercial area but don't fail to take a ride on the Telefrico, the views from the top od the mountain are fantastic.
Be sure to also visit Paloma Park and the Marina is also a must.Benalmadena Pueblo is also not to be missed.
We like the area so much we've bought a retirement home there!

We stayed at benalmadna which was excellent! Going back next year it was very clean and very pretty in parts and the marina is well worth a visit!
The locals are pleasant and some don't speak much English, but as for eating out visit lord bill nice food and very pleasant staff!

As the season was not in full swing the resort was I guess cleaner than at times it might be, however the whole area was fine with many bars, resturants etc to visit. Shops not all open and their opening times not regular. New shopping centre near Marina not all open yet. Would visit again, looking to buy a property in the area. Weather was fantastic which always helps.

Enjoyed it at Benalmadena it was quite but it was April.
Very clean and well looked after, down the marina area it was beautiful. There were plenty of bars mainly with entertainment on at night.
