All rooms face the pool or castle. Restaurants along the beach front are all very good and in the hotel if its just chips, burgers and pizza you want.
Whole cooked chicken from the skate park cafe was very nice to.

Try La Tasca Andaluza restaurant; intimate, typically Spanish. Excellent menu of the day 8.50 euros; lots of choice, generous portions + complementary olives, bread and liqueur. Ying Ping also very good and reasonable.
Ask for high floor, the view is fabulous.

Plenty of shops, bars and eating places. Locals friendly. The market on Tuesday is very good, certainly worth a visit. There are a lot of street traders selling sun glasses, bags etc, they do walk into bars and restaurants whilst you are having a drink or something to eat, if you politely say no thank you they just walk away. A busy place in the evening with hustle and bustle with all ages and nationalities. We would return some time in the future.

Typical beach resort - very popular with the Spanish holiday makers which made for a lovely friendly atmosphere on a night time. Lots of places to eat and drink. Drinks on a night time quite expensive. Local buses and trains great and cheap.
The zoo is fantastic. It looks brand new, smells lovely! and the idea of no cages or bars makes it a lovely day out. The walkways are all shady so not too hot. Visit the clearing at 1.00 to see small animals and birds feeding and only a few feet away. Children and adults will all enjoy this.

We love the CdS so will return again. There is alwasy something to entertain everyone in the family and think it is one of the nicest coastlines in Spain.

Holiday village is a little isolated but there is so much to do it doesn't really matter. If you fancy a change of scenery however Fuengirola and Belamadena are only 10ish mins away by bus.Taxi's also readily available but unfortunately are manic as the Spanish can't drive !!Bus is safer.Didn't go to the beach as it down the road but with the hotel pool and beach club across the road you will not need it.Beach club pirate ship pools are great but any child under 7 ish won't get to go on the wave pool slides.
Great family holiday again.Well done first choice !!!

The beach is clean, well maintained, family friendly and has very good facilites. Perfect for families, as the waters are not at all deep. You can walk for ages and the water only gets to your knees. Great restaurants to enjoy fresh fish and seafood, as well as other family favourites such as chinese, italian, etc. This part of Fuengirola is more popular with Spanish nationals, which I find quite refreshing. The town centre is around 20m walk, but there is plenty to see and do around the hotel anyway. We keep on going back there for a great family holiday

Nice resort still a bit quite first weekin June, lots of bars nice frienly irish bar straight across from the hotel entrance, run by nikki in the day and pam at night to very nice girls, open till you go home!!
Just arund the corner is Bootleggers irish owned bar all sports channels.
only downside is all bars are full of smoke just got used to pubs smelling nice instead of fusty.
Just on the front Gun night bar entertainment live singers every night followed by karaoke.
We only had one timeshare girl stand around the corner from the hotel beside the paper shop (paper 2 euro)
Told her were to stick her scratch card.
We heard some stories of cars overing people lifts into town and then wisking them off for 6 hours of brow beating.
Please remember no one gives you anything for nothing and you will win the top prize evertime, just say no.....
Lucky lucky man if you are sat having a drink or a meal you will get 1 or 2 every 5 minutes there are more of them than bars!!!!
A word of warning dont buy the DVD's or CD's they are all offering them and they are all poorly made.
One of the bar owners warned me but, i bought 2 for 8 euro got them home one as no sound and slightly blurred but the other will not even play tried on three machines, say no....
Trips are good try the zoo very good day out about 5 mins in taxi 4 euro or 20 min walk slightly up hill.
Had a day in Gib 50 euro each including site seeing and tunnels, you can go for 14 euro's by bus but calls allover about 3 hours on this bus.
Would we go "back" yes in time, had a great time lovely resort.

We arrived in Malage airport, and got the train to Fuengirola for €1.80. Fuengirola is the last stop on the line and you can’t miss it. The trains run until quite late, and are very regular and efficient, although you must have some euros in coins available in change as the station is not manned and just has a machine. We then got a taxi from the train station to our apartment, which was €6. I wouldn’t therefore bother with any shuttle service, unless you have a disability.
This was our first time to Fuengirola, and we would certainly go back. The beach is beautiful and clean and the water is so clean and clear. The sunloungers on the beaches were generally very comfy, and of good quality, as were the parasols. For 2 sun loungers with cushions and a parasol, it was €8.
Fuengirola is quite a large resort, and the main centre is quite big. There are plenty of restaurants along the beach front, of varying quality and price. Slightly further in, there is a long, busy street, called “Fish Alley”, although I cannot remember the name they call it locally. There are countless restaurants here, some v cheap offering good value “menus del dias”. Plus there were some more expensive places. There is almost every cuisine on offer! There are also other streets with restaurants and shops.
There is also some good shopping available, there is a Mango and a Zara in the main centre. There is a market centre with some butchers shops and a greengrocers. Plus a spice stall which smells divine.
There is also the tack markets on a Tuesday and Sunday.
The wine is cheap and of a good standard for the price. We do not drink beer, so I don’t know the prices; nor did we drink any spirits as the wine was such good value.
Although smoking is public places is banned, it is up to the discretion of the management of each establishment, so most places still allowed smoking. Although a few places allowed you to smoke outside, but not inside.
Fuengirola is a lovely place. It does have lots of multi-storey complexes, but that is life. The place is spotlessly clean. I cannot recall any nightclubs, but some bars open late.
We would definatley go back.
