All rooms face the pool or castle. Restaurants along the beach front are all very good and in the hotel if its just chips, burgers and pizza you want.
Whole cooked chicken from the skate park cafe was very nice to.

Try La Tasca Andaluza restaurant; intimate, typically Spanish. Excellent menu of the day 8.50 euros; lots of choice, generous portions + complementary olives, bread and liqueur. Ying Ping also very good and reasonable.
Ask for high floor, the view is fabulous.

I thought the resort it's self was really good, a water park which was in walking distance (hint- Go towards the lidl and walk rite on until you can se a little tunel at the other end of the road and go through that its alot quicker) The beach was really nice, I recoment this holiday to any one with kids. The beach st Los Boliches is just across the road from the hotel and is very clean, with a tractor cleaning the sand every morning. The beach cafe across from the hotel was our favourite lunchtime eating place, their seafood platter is SUPERB, as is their Paella. There is loads to see and do for adults and teenagers (don't know about little kids as ours are all grown up but looking around I think they are very well catered for). Fish Alley is a must for evening meals and if you enjoy people watching this is the place to go. Don't miss the huge Tuesday morning market at the Fairground, this is the best place to buy your presents and souvenirs. The ONLY thing I hate about Fuengirola is the time share touts who can be VERY abusive if given the brush off but I think they are a problem wherever you go on the Costas.

Fuengirola is a busy resort with loads of bars and restaurants to visit. Lots of interesting trips out to other resorts.

Fuengirola is a fine resort, but keep away from the Veramar!!!
ITS DISGUSTING.
Expensive, overrated.
