All rooms face the pool or castle. Restaurants along the beach front are all very good and in the hotel if its just chips, burgers and pizza you want.
Whole cooked chicken from the skate park cafe was very nice to.

Ask for high floor, the view is fabulous.
Try La Tasca Andaluza restaurant; intimate, typically Spanish. Excellent menu of the day 8.50 euros; lots of choice, generous portions + complementary olives, bread and liqueur. Ying Ping also very good and reasonable.

Just like all the other Costas, have visited them all and would not do so again.

Plenty to see and do in Fuengirola, of which Torreblanca is an extension. Good bus & train services at very cheap prices.
A couple of tips: always pay train fares on the station before you go aboard, as the conductor will charge double! And don`t buy Euros in the U.K. as you will always get a better rate in Fuengirola,
especially at two small travel shops next to the Yaramar Hotel on the promenade at Los Boliches. Excellent beaches, bars, restaurants etc. I can recommend the resort but sadly not the hotel. Try the excellent Torreblanca Hotel, We have had several fine holidays there.

Probably best out of season, but Fuengirola is full of high-rise blocks, although the sea front is pleasant enough.

the resort promenade has been refurbished recently & is now very good. There are plenty of bars & restaurants close by to suit all tastes. The beach is no more than 100 yards from the hotel-pay for loungers.A pool with free loungers is available at the hotel. If required there is a reasonably well stocked supermarket about 100 yards away.the general area is flat & easy for walking.(our party ages were between 60 to 70)

The resort was exceptionally clean. There was plenty to do considering it was late December. The beach was clean and although we only used it twice it was not crowded.
For those who are happy to revisit good resorts then yes do return.
Personally we would not return, but this is only because we like to visit new resorts at each opportunity.

this resort is lifeless and has few good shops - the week we were there the market was cancelled - the only good things to do were the excursions so we could escape!

Fuengirola is a real mixed bag. There are aspects of the UK with the Cheers bar on the Torreblanca end of the town with its British menu and TV and traditional tapas bars and market stalls, but also Fuengirola itself is just like any other you might find in UK; back streets looking dodgy, very heavy traffic and people trying to sell you stuff you dont need.
Fuengirola was the poor relation to Benalmadena and Peurto Banus which looked lovely.

We stayed in Fuengerola, not too clean, but did find a lovely place to eat. Donny's bars in the back streets near to the hotel mostly we were the only English in the bar so very little English was spoken, but thanks to our two grandson's who were learning Spanish at school and got us by wonderfully. The Spanish people really appreiciated that was the best part of our holiday.

We thought the resort was very clean, the Los Boliches end is quieter and cleaner than the centre of Fuengirola. We are not bothered about entertainment or going into bars so I cannot comment on that. The beach opposite the Yaramar is very clean as there are men cleaning it all the time. Yes, I would and have visited the resort again. I think Fuengirola is perfect for us.
