The hotel has a spa, located on the second floor of the hotel next to the indoor pool, which beauty and health treatments can be booked. It is worth asking reception about these on arrival.

Ask for a room with a balcony that has table & chairs. Rooms at the front will incur some traffic noise as overlook a busy road.

Very clean and spacious ideal for those who just wamt to get away. not great for kids or those who want some atmosphere. we went at christmas so definatly wanted some fun
single rooms have a large corner balcony with no single supplement.
Choose a low floor to avoid queuing for lifts.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

The Resort was great nice beaches and hundreds of bars.
Quite a few spanish youths loitering though, security was good with many police patrolling the Torremolinos area

I didnt like the place at all. The locals were extremley rude especially to the children(and our children are very well behaved compared to some!). We were miles from everything, so it cost us €20 each way in a taxi to the fun bars. The food wasn't great by any standards, and we felt quite fustrated by the bad manners of the waiting staff in most places. I realise that we should make more of an effort to learn the language before we go, but I was making an effort (with my phrase book) and they were most unhelpful.

We stayed on the outskirts of Torremolinos. The beach was fantastic and very clean and the sunbeds had matresses about 5 inches thick on them and were much more comfortable than the plastic sunbeds at the hotel.
We spent most of our time at the hotel as were were only there for a week but the walk along the promenade was very pleasant in the evenings.

Torremolinos not for kids! Especially in August!
No entertainment : nothing to keep young ones occupied! Good shopping though but will not return any time soon.

The resort & beach very clean & well mentained.
Plenty of bars & clubs til the early hours.
As we have visited the Costa del Sol before we probably won't revisit too soon but will return someday.
NB One of our party has walking difficulties and uses a wheelchair on occasion.
Around the resort it became frustrating when on the pavements as you would find a slope on one side only to find no slope once you had crossed the road which meant staying on the road.Life was much easier along the seafront.

Torremolinos is a wierd place in my opinion. It seems quite a run down area once you get away from the sea front yet it is drowling with designer shops!! The lift is a must if you visit the beach as it saves you climbing all those steps. It is a pleasant stroll down with lots of little shops on route, but coming back is another matter, it really is quite steep and although there are ramps most of the way for the pram, it is still a very good workout, getting up there!! Well worth the 50 cents for the lift. The beach was gritty grey sand and abit pebbly as you first enter the sea, abit painful on the old feet, if you are going soon, get the kids some of those water shoes. The beach has loads of showers and feet washers all along the beach so that was really useful.

torremolinos typical holiday resort town with the usual mixture of good and not so good value for money shops. Bit of a struggle for those less mobile as it was all uphill to the center, taxis were about four euros from the Sol Principe hotel.
The beaches along this part of the coast are well kept and all have sunbed and brolly hire available on a daily basis.
