The hotel has a spa, located on the second floor of the hotel next to the indoor pool, which beauty and health treatments can be booked. It is worth asking reception about these on arrival.

Ask for a room with a balcony that has table & chairs. Rooms at the front will incur some traffic noise as overlook a busy road.

We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

The resort was clean enough and plenty to do if you liked shopping. We enjoyed the seafront walk along to the puerto marina to see how the other half live.
Apart from the beach we found nothing for the kids to keep them amused although this could be because of the time of year (February)
I would not rush back in a hurry, although I think this resort would be a different place during the summer months!

Not everything was open in Feb or if it was open closed fairly early (beach front) Bars we went in we're friendly with average entertainment.
Beach itself was great, helped with absolutly wonderful the weather the weekend around Valentines day.

Torremolinos in Janaury was a joy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our three night winter break. The old part of town formed a pleasant walk down to the beach. We had very nice walks around the resort and to Belamadina.
We were very handy for the train station too, which opened up even more exploration. All in all a great place to escape to from the UK's cold and dreary weather.
Would certainly visit again.

Torremolinos is a typical spanish tourists resort. Lots of shops bars and cafes etc. Eating out was a problem much after 9.30pm, most were closing down by 10pm. Also quite a few restaurants closed during January.Lots of steps down to beach which are tiring coming back up to town.

Very lengthy seafront promenade extending as far as La Carihuela and wonderful for walking and relaxation. Town itself not very attractive and parts appear to be poorly maintained.
Visited at Christmas when many restaurants etc. seem to close down. In general found the resort enjoyable if one confined one's time to the seafront.

In December the resort lacks atmosphere and consequentley is pretty dead. The good point is that you can go on some lovely long walks along the prominade, we walked from the Hotel all the way into Belamadena marina which took about 1 1/2 hours one way but it was worth it I would definetley recommend it.
It takes about 25 minutes to walk into the centre of Torremolinos and there are plenty of shops and beach bars on route to stop for a light refreshment.
We found the beach to be very clean its a pitty it was too chilly to enjoy it.
Personally I prefer Belamadena to Torremolinos but I will not rule it out altogether, we may go back sometime in the future.

Beach was very gritty and dirty with raw sewerage. The resort had lots of broken paths and lots of graffitti, run down area!

Torremolinos for me is great to use as a base for visiting better places. It's o.k.

Entertainment limited due to time of year but it is there if you look. Beach very nice.

The resort was very nice, although it was quiet due to the time of year, however the weather was great.
The standard of the beach was fist class, and the resort was as clean as you would get anywhere.
We hope to return in the summer as we enjoyed the hotel and the resort that much.
