Location
The rooms may be small and fit 2-3 people comfortably but I could see 4 people being a squeeze but you only really sleep in the room.
The hotel was very clean and tidy the pool area and sunbeds were cleaned every evening. the food was absolutely fantastic, always plenty to eat and a large variety of different meals too eat. The food was always hot.
The hotel is in a good location just outside the main resort, the beach and town centre is about a 10 minute walk away.
the entertainment was good and kept the children active all day. In the evening if you do not fancy the entertainment in the bar then there is a DVD shown outside, The films shown are always fairly new and good films that you would actually want to watch!
I would definitely visit this hotel again soon.

Given keys to a room, we were then led out of a back door (emergency exit), marched a good few hundred yards down the road and placed in a dirty shabby apartment. There were holes in the walls of this apartment and was smelly and dirty. I refused to stay in this room as we had booked a room in the hotel not in this filth. Returned to receptionist and advised him we were not staying in that room and could he give us one in the hotel which we had booked. We were advised all rooms full, and to quote, "if you had arrived earlier you would have been given a better room" we were shocked at this attitude as were other guests passing by. We refused to stay in that room so he took our room key off us and my friend and I (two elderly ladies) had to spend all night in reception. I was so upset I phoned my son and he emailed the hotel manager and finally by the time morning had came we were moved rooms.
The new room was still dirty, two inches of dust under the beds bathroom smelt strongly of sewage, didn't look nothing like the picture on the website. Manager had left a basket of fruit and a bottle of bubbly though (whoopie doo). There was no other rooms available and due to the stress of it all we decided to stay put and try and enjoy our time in Salou.
Restaurant was full of flys, Food was just ok, nothing special. - Will NOT be returning. Now seeking compensation from Globespan

Check-in was very organised and throughout the week the staff were very helpful and friendly.
We stayed on an all-inclusive basis and found there was plenty of choice within the week. Food was what you would expect of a 3 star hotel, full english breakfasts, toast, bread rolls, croissants, cereals, cold meatsand fruit. Plenty of choice also for lunch and evening meals. Each evening the chef would carve a roast joint. There was also a choice for children each day, the usual fish fingers, chicken nuggets, pasta, boiled rice, jacket potatoes, beans etc. In my opinion if you cant find anything to eat at this hotel you are too fussy!
The rooms are smaller than average, but we managed, although the balconies are small, only big enough for one patio chair on its side.
The hotel is in a quiet location away from the resort centre which suited my family as I have young children. Each evening there was a family film shown on a large screen outside near the play area or there was also a TV inside which showed a family film. I have two daughters aged 3 and 7 and they enjoyed watching the entertainment. Like all hotels it won't suit everyone they do play the usual games of bingo. We saw a Abba Tribute group, The Four Tops, Elvis, tribal dancers and the kids enjoyed the usual disco and party dances. The entertainment and bar closes at 12,you are then asked to finish drinks on the terrace by half midnight so the hotel is very quiet and peaceful from then for a good nights sleep-no rowdy behaviour.
The hotel is about a 20 minute walk away from the main areas of Salou which is obviously much busier. The hotel runs a courtesy bus between 10 and 11.30 am to the resort centre and returns between 4 and 5.30 pm. A taxi is really cheap as well approx 5 euros during the day(approx 8 on an evening).
I do think this hotel is more suited for families than older adults. Overall we had a great time and I would visit this hotel again. A holiday to me is what you make of it, good value for money.

FOOD - Food was very good but very basic. If you like going abroad but eating english foods this is the place for you.
HOTEL LOCATION - this location is really good as it is only 10 min walk from beach 15 min walk from all clubs / pubs and is quite area if you want to relax.
HOTEL STAFF - The staff are really good, Manager Eva is always around to help you and joining in with all the entertainment. Bar staff all work really hard and always smiling from 10am - 12am (14 hrs of work and still a smile. Only bad think is that there was a male front of house person that was not very nice.. he had a bad attatude but he is leaving at the end of the season so will no see him again when we visit.
ENTERTAINMENT - This was really really good always had a great show on each night. Bingo at 9pm.. costs 6 euros but prize money is over 200 Euros each night. they also play the world famous plate game. just like deal or no deal banker will offer you money for your plate. could win loads of money.
WOULD I VISIT AGAIN - I have only been home for 3 days and am already looking to book again for next year. Would recommend this hotel for familys and young couples..

The reception staff were unfriendly and the hotel was filthy. We had booked a double room and were given a room with 2 single beds and 2 camp beds...we were only greatful it was for one week only.
The pool was cleaned once in the time we were there and was only because the holiday makers complained constantly. The security guards at night were very intimidating and actually went around the rooms at nights trying the door handles to make sure they were locked. No telly or talking was allowed.
We actually had a member of the security team let himself into our room at midnight insisting we locked up even though my son had went into town with friends for something to eat.
Im sure if your kids are very small and all you want is for them to be entertained then this could be a great holiday. If you have already booked then just try and make the most of it...we did and still had a good time...if you are thinking about booking...please dont...there is better hotels that are 3 star in salou and much much better quality
