The hotel staff are rude and no help wot so ever.we spent two weeks there and the fire alarm went off at least once a day also the elec and we never got a explanation to why.
One room was on the 4th floor and the lift broke down on a daily basis. The first day we was there my 15yr old son with special needs got stuck in the lift for over 10mins.
It was only that we could hear him screaming and crying we had to inform the staff as they wasnt taking no notice of the alarm.
When I went down they was laughing about it which I didnt find funny as my son was scared. The entainment was ok but only a few staff having to do it all they was friendly and the children loved them.
The kids club was a joke 1 adult to 18 children no chance I would leave mine cant possibly be watching that amount on there own.
The only thing good about this holiday was the weather and the food was excellent. We only enjoyed ourselves when we was out the hotel.
Couldnt go in the rooms other then to get straight into bed because so small couldnt move. As for going back to this hotel got no chance even if you paid me.

What was all the fuss about, this was a great place to stay and certianly vabulous value for money. the food is brilliant, good selection every night, and hot dogs and burger rolls available till about midnight soaked up the booze, i put on a few pounds.
But seriously give this place a try if you have kids, the entertianment was just a rabble, too noisy, too much if you just want to chill!
one thing i do think is a worry, is the lack of space by the pool, no way enough beds for the size of hotel. never-the-less we were in the annex part of the hotel which had its own pool, 'amazing' it was like a private garden.

Food was excellent, great variety - something for everyone not one complaint from any of our party. Drinks flowed and although you were only allowed 2 drinks per person there was never much of a queue - did not seem to be watered down either. The bar does shut promptly at midnight and then you are moved from the bar to the outside area to finish your drinks only being given a limited amount of time - security is quite strict. The alternatives then are off to your room or go out of the hotel and to be fair the bar is open for 12 hours so we found that we had enough by then.
The entertainment staff worked hard and the evening consisted of Bingo (only for about 20 minutes)and then an act e.g group, comedian, fire eater -all worth watching.
The cleanliness of the hotel I would only describe as fair - never really saw a cleaner in the public areas unlike some places in Spain where they seem to mop the floors all day long.
Cannot comment on the bedrooms in the actual hotel as our party were put into the apartments a couple of minutes down the road - these were 2 bedroomed and spacious with a very large balcony which suited us but it did mean not being in the centre of everything (particularly bad if you have spanish tummy).
The actual location of the hotel is approximately a 10-15 minute walk into town/beach but there was a courtesy bus which run up to 11.30 in the morning then again in the afternoon.
This is definately a hotel for the family, not particularly suited to young or elderly travellers and I would say 90/95% British.

We had a great holiday, a little bit noisy in the nights but overall, great value for money. Like most of the other comments that have been written, Eva, The Manager, is fabulous.
She is always around the Hotel and is happy to help anyone with any queries or problems they may have. The older could do with a bit of a 'Face Lift' as the decoration is a bit dated, and the rooms are quite small, but the rest of the Hotel is lovely.
Don't go to this Hotel if your expecting 5*, bacause, you will be dissappointed. Remember, this is rated as a 3* Hotel, and I think the rating is fair. We went for 14 nights, and only had 2 days of cloudy weather.
There are 2 pools in the complex, both quite small, but there is enough room for you to sit around them comfortably. Whilst we were staying at The Villa Marina, my Fiance had an accident in the pool, he fell in the pool, 'head first'. The language barriar was a bit of a problem in the hospital, but the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us.
They kept food for us until after we got back from the hospital and they were also ringing the hospital to find out how my Fiance was. The did genuinly care for his safety. This made us feel much more happier, knowing that there was someone there to help us if it was needed.
They arranged an Ambulance for him and also taxis for other family members to follow the Ambulance to the hospital, and then they arranged taxis for our return back to the hotel.
They didn't want any payment for any of it, thats all we had to do was show our E111 cards at the hospital and then all payments were covered. Anyway, going back to the hotel. If your a family, looking for a family holiday, good value and friendly people, then your going to the right place.
Just before I go, you must go to PortAventura and Barcelona, just a little bit of advice though - dont go on Dragon Karn unless you are aware of it. Its a nightmare - honestly!

My hubby and I took my sister away for a birthday surprise and as this restricted our spending, we had to take one room for all three of us. (not a problem as we get on well) So, the room was fairly small for 3 adults but if you stay tidy and don't live in your room, no problems.
The staff were great, there when you needed them but not in your face. Room and towels done daily. Bar area got mucky but only because people seemed unable to find either an ashtray or a bin... The area was cleaned when there was room which wasn't often as the Brit disease of getting up and drinking from nine just because it's all-inc.had taken hold.
Noise was heavy due to wooden flooring on the landing, but if you buy ear plugs, it's no problem he he.
Value for money can't be beat, but with that you get what you pay for...

When we arrived we looked at the hotel and thought that it needed a bit of attention, and also noticed the amount of rubbish laying around, yet there are plenty of bins about (this must be down to the holidaymakers not using them).
We had to ask for a room change as we where allocated rooms on the ground floor which gave us no privacy, which they did the next day. Then our friends water supply turn brown and stopped for a complete day.
The Hotel is very noisy at night doors banging and shouting.
We where very surprised to see so many children at this time of the year, and some not very well behaved,
we saw one young boy at the bar on 2 nights must have been only 13 with a blue arm band on getting alcoholic drinks.
We must say that most of the staff work very hard.
The only thing we found with the entertainment staff was that the sound system could not handle the girls voices, it sounded as if they where shouting which made them inaudible.
And as for the hotel cat and kittens not very nice if you have cat phobia which 2 of our party had.
Eva the hotel manager works very hard and deserves a better hotel which she will probably get.

The hotel felt very over crowded. This hotel is for families only to be honest as my sister and I felt very out of place as no body really spoke to us as we had no children. We found the solarium which was adults only to sunbathe but the children continuously came up there - that in its self didn't bother me but you would get 15 children squeezed in to an 8 seater hot tub and would splash everyone and swear very loudly.
When my sister approached reception with the problem of all the children in the adult only section we were basically told to go away. The conversation actually started like this - 'excuse me, I have a bit of a complaint' receptionist- 'what a surprise' I mean come on how rude and unprofessional is that - it was actually the first time we had spoken to reception about anything other than checking in!
The bar staff would probably have cracked their faces had they smiled - I appreciate it was busy but come on!!
The entertainment was complete rubbish - and there is only so much bingo you can take part in!
I would totally not recommend this hotel for couples or people that have ever been on holiday! for a first time holiday you wouldn't know any better!!!!
