Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

The resort of Salou is excellent for cleanliness and ease of access. 20 minutes from Reus airport (about 27 euros cab fare) The pavements are a bit unkept in some areas and there is a lot of development in the northern area of the town. The are pubs/restuarants in almost every road and supermarkets also. Lots of restuarants do english food and welcome children. The beach is of excellent standard, very clean and good sand for the sandcastle builders. The range of shops is good for souvenirs and you can get good bargains if your not afraid of a little bartering. Plenty of sportwear and clothing shops. We have been to Salou for 3 years running and would definately go again.

We were just outside the main Salou, locally we had two beach coves, these very nice but down a large hill, so very difficult to get back up again, if u have any mobility difficulties. We just caught bus outside the hotel and went on beach in Salou. A very busy, but nice beach. No problems there, the sea excellent for children as it went out a long way only just above shin high.

Nice clean and quiet with nice view of the sea. A little hilly but if you don't mind that I would reccomend it over Salou itself.

this resort is kept spotless and you will always see people out emptying bins, although you never actually see any litter.the entertainment is also spot on. universal mediteranian is fantastic, they do shows all over including a wild west stunt show, parrot show, a magical puppet show and many more. for the little ones they have little rides dotted all over the park. if walking is a problem you can even hire motorised wheel chairs at a small charge and even childrens big chunky tiny tikes pushchairs!! also in salou you have two water parks costa carribe and aquapolis. also there are safari's to go on and a big adrenalin park with petrol go carts and bungy ball. the beach at salou is fantastic. beautiful clean sand and the water to match. also dotted along the beach are parks to keep the little one's entertained when they are fed up with the water. all in all i will CERTAINLY be going again as the hotel and the resort was my best holiday too date.

resort was great, beach great, activities great, shops, bars and everything there you could think of. we loved salou it was ace!!!

The streets are full of shops and cafes, so many offers and really cheap, few touts on streets but don't hassle you when you just say 'no thanks'. Not a very 'buggy freindly' place, lots of trees in middle of pavements. Beach was lovely and sandy, plenty of paddle boats to hire, all loungers on beach, 3 euros a day to hire. Plenty going on in bars at nighttimes. Great service in cafes and restaurants.

the resort was maintained to a high standard with very limited litter and pollution.
the resort contained a variaty of entertainment,suitable for people of all ages.
the beach was very clean and not overcrowded,sunbeads are a reasonable price for the day as are paddle boats and other beach entartainment.
an overall very enjoyable holiday.

The resort had everything you could need in easy reach from the hotel.The beach was only 15mins walk away and once there it was so clean and big there were big areas were if you wanted the shade you could hire these canopys.We would definately visit the resort again.

The resort was quiet but clean the water park is a must if you visit la pineda. My husband went snorkling if you do this beware of the jelly fish as there is hundreds. If you need to do any shopping I would recommend you go into salou centre as the shops are limited in resort but plenty if you dont need to get lots of pressies.
