Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

The resort was very clean with a relaxed family atmosphere. I can't comment on the resort entertainment with a young family everything we needed was in our hotel. The beach was very clean and their is also a promendade along it with plenty of cafes and shops. I would visit the resort again as there is plenty to do and see, ie; Port Aventura, Aquopolis water park, go carting, etc.

The resort is quite small...but only a 10 minute walk into salou (or a taxi for around 4 euros, or a bus for 1.5 euros)
The pubs in which i like in cap salou were Mickys -kareoke,happy hour and smugglers inn - family pub, good looking dj !!

the resort was very clean the entertainment was really good for all ages the beach was very clean and we met up with a couple from ireland and load from scotland and we are thinking on booking up for next year we had such a great time

La Pineda is a good resort but there is nothing there for kids except aquapolis. Costa Caribe at port adventura is better but doesn't have the dolphin show that aquapolis has. Port Adventura is excellent especially the dragon khan. Salou is the only place with plenty to do but it does resemble Blackpool, which is probably why it appeals to the British.

The resort was very clean catering mainly for locals.
resort entertainment was very poor except for where we stayed ,The aqua park was a very nice day out and the nearby Porta Ventura is a must.
Beach standard, well what can i say i live in Filey in North Yorkshire we have one of the best beaches in the country, La pineda your beach was not good

the paths in the resort are in need of some attention as some people have tripped up,myself included.very good entertainment,something for everyone.spanish bars are very clean and the staff are very friendly.the beach is always clean and well looked after.

We found the resort to be very clean with a wounderful beach. Salou is not over generous with shops but does have a fair amount of bars. Pricewise food was alittle cheaper than in the U.K but drinks were expensive.
A must for holiday sightseers is a day to Barcelona. Its vibrant, cultural and has plenty to see but a word of advise, go on the train not through a rep! Train costs £7 return, rep costs £30 and takes ages. Get off the train at the end of the line which is by the harbour and is a good starting point.

The hotel is about 100 metres from the beach and also from shops, although the main part of La Pineda is about a 20 minute walk. The resort is clean and safe, and only 10 minutes drive from Port Aventura Theme Park.
The beach is lovely, and very clean. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the main strip.

Salou is brilliant! Regardless of age you can always find plenty to do. It caters for everybody! I strongly recommend it!
