Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

Salou was a lovely place to stay in it is very close to the beach. The beach is very nice but very hot..

This has been the seventh time we hsve gone to salou its becoming much like the playa de las americas all the main steets are looking very grubby.

Very quiet in fact dead. Never Again, No Bars , No night life, Expensive, Over rated.

lovely beach, bit hilly to get to Salou! nice walks into Salou. Port Ventura well worth a visit but buy your tickets before you travel

Cap Salou is a little further out of the way but it has some beautiful little beaches dotted along the coastline. (Sunbeds can be hired for 3 or 4 euro for a day!)
Has plenty of little supermarkets to buy what you need. Buses run regularly in and out of main Salou. Ideal for families not looking the hustle and bustle and the nightlife. Very clean resort and i would highly recommend to anyone!

the beach was nice and small and easy to watch kids so im bringing my own child back next time.

Lovely walks on promenade. Good local bus service. Didin't use bars or restaurants.

footpaths were covered with dogs dirt people dont seem to use the little bags we use at home

Salou is quite a large resort without the 'Benidorm' tag. The beach is excellent for kids with warm, gently shelving sea and soft sand. Port Aventura is brilliant and, in my view, better than Alton Towers. Barcelona is close by ( only 8 euros return by train. Would definetly come back again.

la pineda is very clean, there is loads to do during the day but not much happening at night unless you are aged between 18 and 30 and like getting drunk,
the beach is very clean fine sand but i found this year the rough tides had bought patches of pebbles and stones onto the shore,this can be very hard on your feet,
