Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

Some of the back streets were a bit dirty and writing on the walls
Entertainment not too sure about as we never managed to get out of the hotel much as kids loved the entertainment their
Beach Brillant but very busy bed were for hire at 4 Euros or 7 if you wanted some shade
We are hoping to go back some time in the next couple of years as our 5 year old might be able to get on all the activities at both parks as there is a lot of height restrictions and not a lot if you are under 110cm

The resort was beatiful I loved it.
The views were fantastic and the restaraunts were fantastic.

Salou is a busy and beautiful resort the entertainment is fantastic theres lots of shops.
I visited Port Aventura theme park and Aquapolis water park and they were magnificent and I really enjoyed my stay in Salou and I am considering coming back next year it is a beautiful place to go on holiday.

We stayed in Salou at the top of the hill, lots of bars to choose from, alot for kids upto 12 ish. Lots of shops some good some bad. We went to the waterpark in La Pinda been before but still very good especially the Dolfin show after. The kids and Adults loved it. Went on local bus didnt cost much very reliable. The beach very busy in high season but clean. Try the small beach just around the corner from (ROVERS RETURN PUB)very clean small bay still do watersports.

Nice beach, quite clean and very pleasent appearance with pine trees and walkways. Water depth a bit deep and sudden drop after about 10 ft out. Entertainment in the area was limited to irish bars but a good bus service. Salou and cambrills either way €1.50 basic charge.

There was alot of dog poo around and the bins were sometimes overfull but the bars and restaurants were really good except i wouldn't recommend a restaurant calle COOL because the food was expensive and the side salad was 3 bits of lettuce and a cherry tomato. It was a rub ish lpace to eat.

Salou was buzzing at night and quite busy at day-time too. Loads of restaurants, market-type stalls etc.
Beach was great - tide didn't move.
Bus services is excellent for Port Aventure etc - but last bus / tram back home after fireworks - you have to run to catch it or risk walking!
If you go on bus to Cambriles - don't get off too early - the end is at the Beach - it's deceiving how far away it is!

It was a nightmare trying to walk the main street in the evening, the clubs PR staff were everywhere and one individual asked for money during his shift.
I would not recommend this resort as it stands to families.

Better than you might think! We were a group of lads aged between 17-18, lads plenty talent [willing] talent, we found ourselves quite out numbered atleast 3-1, so it was a very entertaining resort, cooldowncrocs was a massive hit, along with 007. Quite cheap for drinks aswell bonus.

We only visited Salou a couple of times as we spent a lot of our time at the theme park and took the train to Barcelona. We found the shops to be typically touristy, flashing neon lights etc. There still some spanish owned bars and restaurants around if you search.
