If it were possible I would have put 0 stars in the rating boxes, but the boxes started at 1 star so take all the one stars as 0 stars meaning more than diabolical!! A four star hotel? I don,t think so!! The tour operater needs to go and re-assess the El Hana it,s a disgrace. We paid nearly

This hotel is nowhere near a four star. It is very tired, requring alot of upgrading, the bedding, towels & pillows were all stained.

The room was dirty, espeacially the toilet. The maid was friendly but didn't clean the room, she only rinsed our bath, at no time in the two week did we see her use cleaning detergents.

The food wasn't to good either, after eating most of us had diahorrea. Therefore we only ate very little, chips and bread. The chefs who distributed the food used their bare hand at times to lift food.

The hotels toilets are the worst we have ever seen in any country.

The hotel staff i.e. waiters and entertainment staff were nice but the entertainment was a joke, no way could you have sat there every night, nor could you sit in the room.

Found leaving the hotel a bit trying too, when visting Soouce & Monistir the sales people never left us alone

The only good thing was on return home we hadn't far to travel to the Airport.

This hotel has put us off travelling overseas again, so if you want a friendship to end, travel to Skanes el Hana

just got back from a fortnight at skanes el hana,All i can say the holiday was a disappointment. The hotel was suppose to be a four star hotel put it this way ive stayed in two and three star accomadation and they have been immaculate with cleanliness, entertainment and location.dont get me wrong you can look at the location in two ways its located on a lovely beach but you are about two minutes from the airport. One thing i will say the staff are lovely, the maid cleaned are room everyday and we always had fresh towels.I think the hotel needs updating especially the rooms as i think they are very basic not what you come to expect from a four star hotel. and even though staff were really great with kids and the adults the entertaiment program needs updating. As i felt like i was in the film groundhog day because its was the same everynight

Hang your head in shame direct holidays, you are selling this dump as a four star hotel to people who have worked hard all year to pay for it.

We stayed for approxamately two hours before demanding to be moved. I would rather have spent the two hours in prison. The whole place is filthy, has the atmosphere of the Hotel California, and the swimming pool was green.

Just ask yourself this; why have direct holidays dropped it from all of their future brochures.

This hotel is the shabbiest hotel I have ever stayed in!.

On arrival it was clear that it was not a 4 star hotel.

We were given two rooms on the 4th floor, the 4th floor corridor basically stank and was very dimly lit. The rooms were filthy, and the carpets not only thread bare and heavily stained.

In the bathroom there were tiles missing and the towels were not only thread bare but fithy (despite being assured that they were clean). Our toilet was not fixed to the floor and the bidet heavily stained and filthy.

Promises of Sat television in the rooms proved to be of a TV which you could not see any picture

The dining area was best described as cramped and the food was a very poor standard.

The pool area was shappy and run down, much of the grass area was bare and so everyone was forced to pay .75p per day for the privilege of using the sunbeds. This will add practically

If you want a quiet no nonsense holiday this is the place to go.

It isnt 4 star but it it clean and good value for money, we couldnt fault the food obviousyl prefered some of the food than other, there was always a large variety. really enjoyed the breakfast, nice selection of salad. My son loved the ice cream. would always push to the front regardless of the queue.

This was our third time at the resort the first with our daughter. We went in August the two previous times we have been was in early March /late Feb. Definatley prefer Aug as you cant fault the weather.

The maids were always polite. although did want to buy my new mommas and pappas pushchair for 50 dinar. I think not..... the waiters asked for our shampoo, and our sons clothes, but what do u expect when its third world and they earn 70 dinar a month.

We arrived at 6am after long delays (7 hours late) and were quickly allocated rooms.

Our teenage daughter and friend allocated a room on the same floor without any problem. However our room had several problems, leaking air/con, dirty bathroom and a plague of ants partying on our bed. After intervention from our Panorama rep we were relocated to a sea view room with fantastic views on a different floor, the manager was concerned that he couldn

This hotel was awful!!!

I hated every second there, although we were there for about 2 hours!

Before we went me and my family looked on this site but dad had already booked the hotel so it was a bit late. Anyway, we decided to be positive and hope for the best, but believe me it was pointless!

As we pulled up I thought the hotel looked ok, with some groovy round lights outside but I was entirely wrong!
We walked in and saw that the marble floor was filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned since it had been laid!

Then we had our cases taken upstairs (which was helpful considering our room was the furthest room away from the lifts) and looked at our room.

As we walked down the corridors we walked past old stained matresses and things just propped up against the wall.
The room was okay I suppose, although when I looked in the bathroom I could hear some noises coming from about, like there was a bird or something up there.

We went down to the pool and immediately noticed that it was ~green!~ and had paint all peeled of around the edges.
The pool had no shallow end, just a baby pool so you could not have a proper swim and play in the pool and even if you just wanted a swim it was dangerous because local kids were coming in off the beach and throwing in ~glass!~ bottles in the pool and diving in for them!

We phoned our rep and just about managed to get moved.
As we came down in the lift we spoke to a number of families who had been trying to get moved for days, but just were not allowed, so we were very fortunate!

All i can say is that if you have booked this hotel, you have made a mistake!!

If you are looking for a hotel to stay in in this area got to the TEJ MARHABA!!!

Hotel El Hanna Skannes, Near Monastir Airport. Its supposed to be a four star hotel but I've travelled all over the world and would consider it 2 or maybe 3 star at most. Food is edible, but is not nicely presented and lacks real variety. However, to be fair we did not starve. You have to pay for sun loungers (75p per day). The pool is clean and the beach is long and very nice. The sea is safe to swim in. Very easy to get to Monastir and Sousse by local buses (50p per journey) and they stop outside the hotel. Public transport is safe, regular and not crowded. Rooms in hotel are air conditioned - but there is no hairdryer provided. You need to take your own towels for use on the beach. The trip to El Jem (Roman ampitheatre) is worth doing. Some people said how much they enjoyed the Safari trips (two day trip). The hotel rep for airtours was not very helpful. Entertainment for adults in the hotel is almost non existent though they did cater well for children. You can go to the 5 star hotel next door if you are prepared to pay around

Hi we have just got back from tunisia and have really
enjoyed our holiday with panorama, from the plane to the hotel the service was great. The rooms were ok and cleaned everyday, with the maids in and out of the rooms all day even if your {don't disturbe sign }is on the door.

Around the pool is interesting, you have to pay for your sunbeds everyday 75 pence. The waiters are all ways asking if you want a drink or food around the pool,we didn't tip everytime we had a drink and they were fine with that. the pool is far to deep no shallow parts, no good for non swimmers unless on a blow up bed. there is a childrens pool but games are played in that pool and no good for adults unless with child.

The beech is great, we really enjoyed the beech nice and quiet. you have to pay for sunbeds there to.The waiters also serve food and drink down there. the sea was like a bath really warm. (Watch out for jellyfish}

The entertainment was great for children they had a disco every night and a kids club in the day. the adults could play bingo bongo and have a sing or dance comp, they did something different everynight. Then at 12 0 clock the disco opens for the adults.

The hotel is locatted with a few other hotels, the hotel on the left from the beech sold small bottols off cold water and the sun and daily mirror news papers. You have Monastir on the left and sousse on the right, there are allways yellow taxis waiting out side the hotel, agree on a price first.

The food was ok we didn,t go hungry no drink with evening meal and not many of our party want for breakfast.
