Location
We had some doubts about the hotel and what to expect on arriving after reading some bad reviews.
But on our arrival all our doubts were diminished the hotel was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly even though we arrived at 5am.
Over all the cleanliness of the hotel at all times was spotless.
All the staff were excellent very helpful and friendly.
There was plenty of food to choose from at all meal times from, soups, salads, pasta, cold meats, cheese and hot meals. Must not forget the lovely Desserts. (yummy)
We wanted a hotel in a quiet location, we were not dissapointed, with a few shops just round the corner and Konakli just a 15min walk with plenty of shops.
The entertainment during the day was ok there was always something going on for small children to the adults.
The evening entertainment was ok for the children but not at all good for the adults.
We will go back to the eftalia we had a great time.

However...if you are English/British,do not go here. You will not be catered for as 99% of the guests are Eastern European, etc and they are not particulary fond of us Brits. Meal times are a fiasco, pushing barging,it seems as though these people have never seen food before. Plates are piled high with puddings and not eaten, just to deprive others of having it as far as I can tell..I think the prisons in Britaiin are more of an orderly place to be.
Sorry but it is true..there were also prostitutes openly working from the hotel. I was approached by one so i know this is true.
Staff are friendly though and like the English because of our manners and friendliness, something that eastern europe seem to overlook on their holidays.

The cleaners were great , always leaving clean towels everyday and new water bottles. Also they tidy the room as good as possible and make your beds look perfect again.
To be honest the first week i enjoyed the food but as it started heading into the 2nd week i startin getting sick of it but there is a good choice if you dont seem to like much.
The staff were very helpfull . the waiters are always there picking up your glasses and cleanin your tables . and very friendly also.
in the future i would go back to this hotel but i would recommend if you are a teenagger and you are planning to go .. take a friend and save up as you might be bored and want to go to discos etc outside the hotel.

The pool areas of the hotel were fab apart from the other guests not english would leave towels on sunbeds and as it was high season you needed to be early to get a good sunbed.
Entertainment again was really geared up for other eastern european guests so cards and drink for us every night.
Food well unless you like spag bol you will have trouble its rice and chips and salad every night.
Drinks were ok unless you a wiskey, vodka, gin or soft drinker you havent got a chance.
Staff members were great would go out their way to help you and were really friendly at all times.

The staff on reception were always helpful, the food was I felt not as good as other resorts in Turkey, breakfast very good, dinner ok, evening meal poor, but the hotel was exellent. The people great, the location good.
If you go to Alanya go to Kervans at the marina and have a steak ( wow ) the staff wee exellent and friendly. The boat trips were excellent and again the people are fantastic.
I love Turkey. !!!!!

The food was very good with plenty of choices at every mealtime, however soup, dry bread or spaghetti is not my idea of supper. The location could have been better being somewhat in the middle of everywhere, so some travelling had to be done every day.
The staff were very friendly and helpful despite a lack of understanding English but they tried very hard. The Animation team was so bad it was almost funny, bingo that took all night for one game and even then no-one knew who had won or what they had won. They struggled with their English but never gave up trying to involve everyone regardless of nationality though.
I would go back but in a few years when hopefully they will be more used to the English and their ways.

This is not really a resort designed or affable towards English tourists, especially if you have children. There is no attempt to provide any service whatsoever in English, and this is the first time ever that I have had difficulty in using Sterling, apoart from the Thomas Cook rep who was happy to accept English money for trips out, more about these below !
To change money, you had to leave the hotel anmd also the area around the hotel had no bureau of exchange.
You had instead to take your life in your hands attempting to cross a triple width carriageway to access the town area. A near fatality occurred on the third night of our holiday - beware of this road at night !
Food and drinks were plentiful if somewhat repetitive over the period of a week. I concur that early visits to the first sitting are required if you wanted to miss 30 minutes of queueing behind others for the chef's freshly cooked meats and fish.
There were around thirty British people in total that we met or knew of during our week there in the hotel, and this report is given on their behalf as well as ours - we seemed to be the only ones with pc access.
Trips out from the hotel - none conducted with any type of English translation whatsoever and with no attempt at an apology.
Evening entertainment - atrocious - Eurovision quality music meets Ann Summers nights out - embarrassing if children were present, no attempt to encourage dancing or participation without cause for embarrassment.
Any British teenagers would be bored silly with nothing for them at all on offer !
Watching several women imitate various sex positions is not my idea of normal family entertainment , and I'M NO BORING PRUDE !
Survived the week, enjoyed meeting some nice people, staff and daytime facilities were spot on at the Chill pool, but after the evening meal the nights just dragged to a halt !
Shame - had everything going for it except acceptance of the British tourist after dark !

Expecting the worst after reading the reveiws but all in all a fab holiday !
Bit boring at night as entertainment was not great! But the animation team were great and so were the chefs!
I would definitely visit this hotel again!

The food was nearly the same every morning, afternoon and evening, if you like strong fish, burgers, packet soup and runny smash then you will love it!!! Oh you also need to like them cool not hot!!! The only good thing on the menu was the cake and desserts.
The entertainment was one night one game of bingo which took 2 hours to play outside on a cold night, each number was called in 4/5 different languages. Then 6 nights of what was described as comedy sketches, I would call it adults acting stupid!!!
On a good note the staff in the hotel were very nice, and the chamber maid was brilliant. But the Thomas Cook Rep that is assigned to this hotel is a complete waste of space.
