Very good hotel, staff very helpful, bedding changed regularly maid service excellent. food choice bit repetitive and limited for vegitarians, hotel is a 2hour transfer from airport and they stop half way for a break of 20mins. Hotel is 20mins outside Alanya with a regular local bus service. Plenty of entertainment for Children not brilliant for us. Nightclub was very poor headbanging music

our family were very impressed with how clean the hotel is we have never been to a hotel where your room is cleaned every day without fail
the food in the hotel was good even my daughter who is fussy found something to eat and there was no pushing and shoving when we were stood in the queue.
the location of the hotel is about 10 minute walk away from the local shops and market but it is a nice walk out and round the hotel it looks like they are building more hotels so this resort might be an up and coming place to be.
the staff in the hotel are very hard working and do there daily duties with a smile. this hotel should be proud of every one of there staff no matter what job it is.our family have made friends for life.
the entertainment we thought was brilliant as the staff actually put together the shows themselves and work very hard doing that.we had no complaints about the shows and joined in when asked to especially my husband..... i would definitly recommend this hotel to others and we were that impressed we got back off this holiday and have already booked up for next year so eftalia resort hotel watch out for 15th september 2009 cos we will all be back. thanks for a great holiday.

We was worried about going to this hotel as the reviews that we had read werent that good but our minds were changed when we arrived.
We was given a one bedroom apartment which was very large and very clean, towels were changed daily.Bottled water was supplied each day. Air conditioning was great in the evenings in the rooms because was very hot. The food was good , could always find something to eat also pancakes were made all day and cakes in the afternoon so we did not go hungry. The pool was very slippery around the edges so you had to be very careful but we had to get down there early for sunbeds also i would suggest to take your own towels as there is a very short supply. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the entertainment team like Haribo and Ozzy were great fun. The beach wasnt that great rough waves and gritty sand but we had more fun at the pool.
Maybe will go back again but we didnt like the 2 hour travel from the airport to the hotel and its a shame that it is not recommended more for the english.

I stayed for 2 weeks with my husband Steven and son Brendan.

Very nice hotel well kept, The staff are absolutley fantastic, really friendly especially Pepe in the main restaurant, and the waiter in the Snack Bar, The really made an effort to make us feel welcome as we were definently in the minority, With all the Russians, Germans and Dutch,

The food was not great, however could have something even if it was just Melon and Oranges, Which were delicious,

The beach not my thing very gritty sand and stong waves. But the Pools fatastic

The location was OK a 10 min walk to main town, but just outside hotel a range of shops could be found, the staff in them also very friendly.

Trips - i booked one with the rep the Manavgat which was brilliant but there is another agent just outside the hotel next to the jewelery shop who was excellent i would highly recommend him as his trips where the same as reps but cheaper.

Enertainment, Mr Haribo and Ozzy work really hard, They definently do not spend money on Acts, they put on all shows themselves, however some great some not so, But as i said Mr Haribo and Ozzy Fantastic!!!

Would possibly go back if got cheap deal and better flights.

What a sham this holdiay was Bad food appalling entertainment bad Thomas Cook should not sell this holiday to British people My 10 year old daughter and 19 year old son very bored, altogether 9 members of my family went there and no one liked it all of the English people that were there same time as us have complained. Rooms are clean and pools great but that is the only good thing that anybody could say about this hotel. Please think twice about going to this Hotel Truthfully it it is worse than bad.

I Visited This Holiday 2 Years Ago And It Was A Good Holiday Compared Too This Year Couldnt Fault The Food,Entertainment And Facilities. I Went Back This Year And Took Family And Friends Thinking It Would Still Be The Same. But Wasn't The Food Was Very Poor And Didnt Cater For English One Bit. This Made Meh Want Too Not Go There Again. And Wouldnt Recommend This Hotel Too Any British People.

The Hotel was very clean. I was a single parent on my own and felt very intimidated by the lack of British people at this hotel, my only saving grace on my first week was that a family we new from Morley were there on their second week when we arrived. The Russians an Germans were very rude and igorant, pushing in at meal times and being inconsiderate at the pool. The food was quite poor, and very repetitive. Entertainment in the first week wasn't that great. On the second week I decided not to let poor food and ignorant germans/russians spoil my holiday. The Entertainment seemed to improve on the second week. My six year old thouroughly enjoyed the mini club and mini disco and cried when she had to say goodbye to the girls who ran the club. The staff at the hotel on a whole were fantastic. We ended up not wanting to come home in the end. I would give this hotel another go

Got back from the Eftalia resort hotel Konakli,Mon morning 7thJuly. After reading some of the reviews, we were a bit concerned, as this was our first trip to Turkey, we thought we can only wait and see for ourselves. I must say we were dissapointed, really about everything.

Meal times were a nightmare, everyone was in a rush to get to the food, We dont know why it wasnt that nice, ok you could find something to eat if you liked salads, chips and sloppy food. This Hotel doesnt cater for us english, we spoke to a few english people and they said the same.

There was no chance of a sunbed around the pool, unless you put your towel on a bed last thing at night or early in the morning, we had a room with a veiw at the front, we could see people putting towels on the sunbeds at 8.30pm at night.

We only had one week, so the first 3 days we went on a walk about, went down to the beach and went into the sea, that was an experience, the sea is very rough, then thought have a nice stroll along the beach, you couldnt even enjoy that, as it wasnt very flat, and all along the beach was sunbeds,in their groups, that belongrd to other hotels.

Night times we walked into Konakli which is a short walk into a busy town plenty of shops, places to eat and drink. There we met quite a few turkish people, who we made friends with and had many laughs. When we came back we had late night drinks in the new bar opposite the Eftalia called Natalia, the music was quite loud, but there we were made really welcome, and had some good fun.

The other days we were there we booked trips with Thomas cook,I must say they did some good trips, Manavgat market & cruise, Tale of two cities, and the last day departure cruise which was good, and a jeep safari which we booked up outside the hotel,as Thomas cook were unable to do this one.

We beleive a holiday is what you make it,and we did have a good time because we went out and about and met other people,on the whole we loved Turkey and the people, but we wouldnt go back to the same hotel or the area.

i did not enjoy myself at this hotel(the wife and family did apart from the drinks which i'll come to later).it was spoilt by the russians(who believe it or not are ruder than the germans),the food was below average(we went to the beach snack bar most days for kebab and chips because it was the only thing that tasted ok),the evening meals were a bit better and the deserts were nice, the biggest problem at mealtimes were the russians, pushing in and grabbing loads and just leaving it on their tables uneaten,as for pushing in i mean as bad as pushing kids away from the last of the afternoon cakes(if you go you will see what i mean). now the drinks ,i can drink anything but the wife and daughter doesnt like beer or spirits, they like cocktails and malibu, peach schnapps etc,so guess what was available at the bar ,beer and rough spirits,we had to go into Konakli(20 minute walk) on a night to buy drinks.the drinks were a bit weak, only the raki was up to scratch.the hotel was clean, and the staff were helpful, but you have to put your foot down when they serve the pushers in and tell the barman to make them queue.would i go back ,no.but if the drinks were sorted out the wife said she would.
p.s. it wasnt only the brits who were unhappy,i talked and drank with a belgian and dutchman who felt the same about the food/drink.
p.p.s. i won't tar all the russians with the same brush as a couple of the families were decent(queued and tutted with the rest of us).

I arrived home from Eftalia resort Monday july 7th, i really enjoyed my time here in this hotel, the hotel staff were lovely, the food wasn't all that great as it didn't really cater for British however some nights it did so i suppose this is fair, they have to cater for everyone and keep everyone happy.

The beach was beautiful, there is a snack bar on the beach, they provide pancakes, kebab meat, salad and chips and of course free drinks.

The pool was huge and the water slides were fun!! There weren't that many English families there but this did not spoil my time here, when i go on holiday you expect people to be there from different countries, it all adds to the experience i didn't find any of them rude.

The evening entertainment wasn't all that great, he comedy sketch was abit rude for children, mums were standing up and walking away. However i found it funny. Turkish night was amazing, was glad to have some Turkey!!! :)

I will definately be going back to this hotel again very soon. I enjoyed my time here.
