The food was nice everywhere we went and the bars were pretty good too.At most of the bars there was free pool table and playstation.Which my son aged 10 thought was great!The thing we didn't like at Altinkum was the hassle from the shopkeepers trying to pull you into the shops.One was hanging on my arm another one grabbed my sons shoulders and pushed him into the shop.after that we went out of are way to avoid them,

altinkum is the nicest place ive ever been the beach was loverly and not far from our hotel the resort is very clean and there bins everywhere. there always entertainent from the pubs and restrants its very busy on a night time even if you fancy a walk theres lots of things to see. the beach standard is at its highest if you want to go on the beach its 4.50 lira for a sunlounger and 4 lira for a sun umbrella but all the money thats raised goes to the unkeep of the beaches.the water is clear an anything and its also warm there lots to do in altinkum and i would recomend it to amyone

Altinkum is not too big, just enough. Lots of shops and things to do. Loved the Dolmus 1lira each into town. Felt very safe. Beaches disapointing, not very wide but ok, water very clean.

This was our first time to Altinkum, although we have visited Turkey 7 times. We thought it was lovely. Very lively, very busy and very cheap!!
The food was great and loads of good shopping areas to get those bargains, and we did!! We will visit the resort in the future, and can't wait until we are back again.

People are very pleasant you could go clubing or just chill out by the bar you can go on bannana boat or sit on the beach. You wouldnt miss out on anything. The entertainment was fantastic.

We were 10 mins stroll to Dolfin square this is where you find all the restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs. EGE BAR is a must visit to see the dancers also BIGNOSE BAR.

The Peyda was less than 10 minutes away from Dolphin Square which is absolutely amazing the people are so friendly and helpful and we fell in love with it especially the dancing bit.
The bars and the clubs are great they adapt to everyones liking they have a mix of culture, such as they'd play english music, aswell as Turkish and even Indian music which was fantastic, unlike the Peyda who felt to keep the non-ethnic minority pleased by playing cheesy dance music.
For the two weeks we were there people in Dolphin Square never forgot our names and always remembered us and were always giving us a warm welcoming, whereas at the Peyda we did not feel as comfortable.
The beach was quite nice and was kept clean on a regular basis. We would definitely go back to altinkum dolphin square as it really felt like home and this time we will stay at dolphin bar itself (the best bar in our opinion) so altinkum be prepared for us soon. (but not peyda)I'd just like to add the Peyda shop was too expensive and the person serving was not at all nice, you should go to the shop around the corner which is very cheap and the customer service is very pleasant. Resort is very lively with plenty to do whether it be a quiet drink,karaoke or loud dancing bars theres something for all tastes.
If you like shopping this is the place to go.
A must see is the apollo temple just a short ride on the dolmus which stops wherever you want it too

The resort was brilliant to! fantastic views! loads of day trips available! a real good day out for cheep! The bars are soo great! the workers you meet down there are amazing! you get really close to some of them!
if you visit here i would certainly advise going to the 'swan bar' its great! and they have the sexiest dj ever! dj kenzie! we went clubbing with kenzie a few times to medusa with his friend ally or another worker reggie! and i would also reccomend going to the 'dolphin bar' amazing! the workers here are soo great! espesially 'engin' & 'Remi' me n my best friend rae had some memories with them! we went clubbing with them to flamingos!
the beach is superb! we had a dolbus pick us up from our appartment the esra and take us to the beach and then one drops you back to your appartment from the beach!
The cleanliness of the resort is really good!! this holiday was 10/10 i loved every minute of it!!

Beach can be very dirty...but thats cos of ciggie butts that ignorant tourists put on it.
The usual hassle with waiters...but just tell them you have already eaten, that usually works.
Discos are very loud late at night, but thats what you expect on holiday.
Love the people and made some good friends. Deffo going back this year. July 2007
