this resort we found was clean although the quieter parts looked quite shabby with litter lying about.
i cant fault the entertainment with wall to wall bars and restaurants theres something for all ages.
there are 3 beaches here and the first and second where clean but not much room, we spent most of our time on the 3rd beach theres nothing there but you get more space and its clean.
we would definately visit altinkum again.

Fantastic place to holiday. Would recommend it anybody from any age group. We are returning there again in October 2011 (which makes this about my 10th time of holidaying here in total)to celebrate my 50th birthday with most of my family as I could not imagine any other place I would rather celebrate it.

Altinkum is a very clean resort we saw the bin men empty the bins and collect the rubbish every day.Entertainment is brilliant with more than enough bars and nightlife for everyone.The beach was within walking distance just a few minutes walk away and was very clean.Lots of sunloungers to hire and sunshades too.Plenty of watersports to do and lots of boat trips everyday.

We fell in love with Altinkum 12 yrs ago but I have to say the resort is going downhill.We go to visit the friends we have known all these years but I dont think we will be going back next year.

Wanted a weeks relaxation in the sun, Not impressed with Altinkum as a resort but stayed around hotel beach area

We are not beach people but walked by it on many occasions and were aware of the standard of cleanliness. The streets are also very clean, this being despite a lot of loose dogs. There are plenty of bars, perhaps too many. As for restaurants, you are spoilt for choice and the quality of food in most of these establishments is very high, as is the welcome by the patrons. Altinkum is one of the most friendly resorts we've ever been to.

The resort was lovely I would certainly consider travelling there again. Beach absolutely gorgous, I actually loved the town.

This is the 3rd resort in Turkey we have visited and is by far the dirtiest. Bins were overflowing, and rubbish left up sides of restaurants.
We wont be visiting Altinkum again, however I must add that the other resorts in Turkey we have visited were fabulous and clean.

Altinkum is a nice resort but just has a shabby sort of feel to it. Loads of nightlife near the seafront and dolphin square. Head up in to Didim for a more local feel
