This resort was fairly quiet, very clean and extremely friendly with an excellent dolumus service to the neighbouring towns. Food was plentiful in choice and was very well priced. All of the locals were very friendly and we miss them all!

Bitez is beautiful and very clean. The entertainment could be better but the company and friendliness of the people made up for it.
The beach is 2nd to none they aim to please.
I would not go anywhere else it is my ideal holiday

The resort is very clean but is changing year by year. What used to be a sandy walk-way is now pedestrianized with little palm trees & they have re-built the harbour. All the little shack-type beach bars have gone and now they are proper bar/restaurants.
The beach is sand and shingle and long and narrow with plenty of sunbeds, which are all free. Bitez is about a 40 minute walk from Gumbet (or £3 in a taxi) which is much livelier with a bigger beach and loads of pubs, clubs and restaurants. Bodrum is about a 20 minute drive away, but you can get a bus (dolmus) for about 80p. Bodrum has a great harbour and is more up market and worth a visit it also has a good market.
Personally I prefer Bitez as the service & food is much better.
If you haven’t been to Bitez - go - before it gets any more built up. I would definitely recommend the Toloman.

The resort of Bitez is small but perfect. There are plenty of excellent quality restaurants, all reasonably priced. If your visiting you must try the First Stop restaurant, its wonderful - slightly on the higher price range but well worth the visit. There is unlimited numbers of bars, which all have various different events nightly. A dolmus runs every 30 mins taking you through to Bodrum if you wish. The beach is very long, made up of both sand and pebble, the incline in to the water is very shallow so there is no trouble with regards children and safety.

This was my second visit to Bitez and although it's quiet it is nice and close to Bodrum.
There is not alot of entertainment but I would recommend the Temple Bar where the staff are nice and there's a good atmosphere.
The beach is nice and is clean although it isn't sand. I would recommend going to Bitez as I will do again in the future.

Bitez is a quiet resort, perfect for those who want a relaxing beach holiday. The beach is clean and the waters perfect. All the sunbeds on the beach are FREE and you can get waiter service from the hotels lining the area.
The choice of restaurants is superb! We would recommend, among others, Last Stop (say 'hello' to Chris for me!), Jimmys, Istanbul and Pescatore. This last restaurant is back from the beach but serves superb food at reasonable prices and the family who own it are always friendly and welcoming.
If you are looking for hectic night life and "bump bump" music this is not the place for you. It is, however, perfect for a relaxing beach holiday and great for people watching!

Bitez is a small compact area of Turkey and suits those who don’t want to be bothered with noisy pubs and night clubs.
This is the best place we have been to if you want a peaceful & relaxing holiday. Nice beach lined with restaurants and shopping area... deserves its 5 stars.

Great place. Visit the First Stop Restaurant on the front, 20 yards from the Mosque. Fantastic food and mood. Ask for Shafaz & tell him Tim sent you.
We found Bitez suited us just fine, plenty of restaurants, a promenade to walk along at night, no noisy night clubs. The sun beds & shades were free saving a lot of money compared to other places we have visited. Just buying one drink keeps the waiters happy. We found the beach better and less stones if you walked pass the mosque near the Seaside restaurant. All water sports are available. There are three cash machines on the front near the mosque.
