As much as the downside to my review on the hotel is,the total opposite applies to Bitez itself, this is was our second visit and it wont be our last,it is a beautiful resort, the beaches all set around the bay.
Plenty of Restaurants, we ate at a different one each night and we couldnt fault any of them (except Manuela, because they rushed us out).
Try some of these,48, First Stop,Dolphin do lovely Sea Bass, the Blue Moon is one road back off the beach, Tommy and the staff will look after you very well indeed,my friends husband went back the next day to fix their neon sign for them.
Also you have got to go to Salmakis the chinese restaurant, its the past the Mosque, they do have Chinese chef who is excellent, Gino the owner makes you very welcome, he will even sit and have a drink and a chat with you, He wil be chuffed if you tell him he looks just like George Clooney, and James who works there is a great guy.
This is one place I cant wait to visit again, but definitely not going to Manuela.

Bitez is a fantastic little resort with a long narrow beach. It doesnt have any night clubs but has about 20 restaurants and a few bars.
I have stayed here many times, unfortunately I was unable to get booked into our usual hotel.
You can get a bus to Bodrum which takes about 20 minutes but is worth the visit.

we have to say bitez was what we wanted great beach ..lovely caring people that seem sincere. We loved the staff at the Four seasons ( Murhet especially )this was a short stroll from our Hotel Ambrosia ..Which also had great staff. Bitez is a lovely place to go quite but vibrant in a non pushy way unlike Gumbet. We went with friends 2 x family of 4..It was great to chill recharge and enjoy some hot sun. Our lasting memory is what a great place with friendly staff everywhere especially four seasons..worth a visit

Bitez is a quiet resort with not too many people. The resort is clean as in rubbish wise but is dusty. it is not too loud but if you want to go clubbing go to Gumbet a five minute taxi ride away (if you want to get a dolmus you have to go to bodrum then out to any where else). if you want to go shopping for clothes, food or souvenirs go to turgetreis market it is cool and becomes quite empty by one o'clock. when shopping remember to barter and shop around!! bitez is perfect for familys even though the beach is a bit shingley.

Bitez is a lovely resort. The sandy beech is clean and has shallow water making it ideal for children. The sun loungers and parasols are all free and are owned by the various bars along the beech front - some sections of the beech having hammocks and large scatter cushions in the shade. There are a wide selection of restaurants and bars offering no end of choice and as a family we could not fault the resort at all.

We found the resort of Bitez to be ideal for us. Its friendly and has many bars, restaurants and shops and is lively without being tacky and too loud! The beech is beautiful and there are plenty of free sunloungers and parasols which are owned by the many restaurants along the see front. Turkey is a beautiful place with such friendly places, we've been three times and would consider returning.

Bitez as a resort is fantastic and the local restaurants are some of the best we've been to on any foreign holiday. The Turks try really hard for your custom and although they can hassle you sometimes when you pass their restaurants, they know when to stop and they are more sincere in their intent than you may give them credit for.
Go with the flow and you'll have a great time.
Most of the restaurants are right at the edge of the beach and there's lots of choice for retaurants and bars (all very classy). You just can't beat having a bottle of wine by the sea after a great meal.
The beaches are great too.
In fact....just go!
