great resort IDEAL lot to see and do

My husband and I didn't really go into Gumbet very often as we were staying a few minutes outside of the main resort, which meant having to run the gauntlet of restaurants and shops. Neither my husband nor myself are swimmers so the beach wasn't really an attraction for us.

The resort of Gumbet is twinned with Bodrum so you have plenty of choice, quiet or lively, couples or family, this resort caters for everyone.*****

gumbet was a brilliant resort clean friendly as turkey always is. night life was exellent,plenty of shops to haggle in and bars that were iether lively or select quiet places if thats what you want.i would recomend this resort to anyone who wants a good laugh is willing to accept other peoples cultures.

The resort was lovely, everything waws on your doorstep. It looked clean but the only down side was the beach because it was abit shingly and stony but you did have sun loungers to lye on. The entertainment was fantastic!!! there are some great nightclubs, some nights we wouldn't get back to the hotel til 5 in the morning. When we went out with the waiters from the hotel, they were lovely, they looked after us and made sure we were safe. The only complaint is if you drink imported drinks, such as malibu (like mee) then it was expensive but the cocktails were cheap and nice :D Dont let them give you a shot when your out at other bars because they are just juice, thats from experience lol.

the resort is fantastic and the place to eat is across the road from the hotel which is the sun flower bar/restaurant the food is great the drink good and cheap and the hospitality of the staff is out of this world so for food drink and great entertainment visit the sun flower you will not be disappointed

We didnt go to the beach as we prefer to stay around the pool but from what we saw of it, it looked nice. I can imagine it getting rather crowded in mid season though.

the resort is nice the people are very friendly,the only bad thing i have to say is that the side walks are bad especially if you were high heels girls just be careful,but i cant complain about anything else.

The resort is busy - its a fun place, not for the faint hearted. Its an interesting place to people watch.
The beach is a huge, curved sandy bay, very pretty and as the resort is hilly, the buildings are built on the hillside which is very pretty when its all lit up at night.
We enjoyed the resort and would return.
