Gumbet is perfect for all ages however theres not alot for kids to do. the nightlife is the best part and the restaurants are all really good havent had any problems yet. the beaches are reallly clean and all the bars are so welcoming Especially molly malones!!! cant wait to go back!

Our hotel was plush but the resort was certainly not!
Your usual English bars are everywhere along the 2 main streets with banging music (the same songs everywhere) and lots of teenage drunks.
The shingle beach was clean enough but very small, though you dont have to pay for sun-loungers.
The walk along the beach front at night was pleasant but was litterered with restrauntaurs bidding for your business.
I particularly hated every shop worker trying to get you into their shop or grabbing you as you walked past. They were very touchy-feely and we ended up walking a detour to get away from the same people every night.
I would return as the hotel was great but I would not make this my main Summer holiday. Good for a cheap deal if you can get it but don't stay anywhere else other than the Royal Asarlik.

I find the resort far too hilly, a great place for the young folks, but not so good for pushchairs/wheelchairs ect.Good entertainment on the bar streets, again for the younger crowd, but lots of other bars on the side streets you can go to and be made very welcome for a drink or a meal.
You are very close to Bodrum, so you can go anywhere in Turkey from the Bodrum bus station.
Bodrum and Gumbet are both very good for boat trips, water sports and shopping.

Gumbet is a fantastic place to go. If you want to be out partying until the early hours you can, or you can have a quiet drink in a quiet bar. Gumbet caters for everybody. Plenty of karaoke bars, music bars, restaurants. You wouldn't need to go into any of them twice, as there are so many. The beach was lovely and clean, I can't comment much, as we only went there once, as I'm not a sea lover. Aqua park is ok, but have been to much better. We were told that we were being picked up to go at 10am, which we were. Unfortunately we were taken in a 4x4 to a cafe, and had to sit there until 11.15am for the bus. We weren't happy. When we got to the aqua park at approx 11.50am, we spoke with the manager, who didn't give a damn. He just walked away from us. So be careful when you book. Would definately return to Gumbet some day.

The area is very hilly and unsuitable for disabled people. We went into Gumbet in the day and the shopping is great but the evening entertainment is load and we were given water instead of vodka in one bar which spoiled the evening.
Bodrum harbour is beautiful and we had a great boat trip from there on one day. The shopping and market in Bodrum is very good

The resort was clean enough, however there were a lot of insects etc causing me to get 15 bites which actually have left scars.
Resort entertainment there is a lot of fun bars which you have your meal then they provide some entertainment afterwards. These were best suited for families as Bar Street was main all dance clubs.
The beach was not sand it was mainly grit and very sore on the feet, however there were lots of watersports and boat trips provided on the beach.
I won't be going back!

The resort cleanliness was o.k.
There was lots of entertainment ranging from family to all night clubbing.
All beach facilities was free of charge providing you bought food & drinks from them but staff were very attentive. Gumbet is a shingle beach which is not very comfortable if you dont rent a lounger.
Yes we would deffiently visit the resort again as there is lots to see and do.
All local business are attentive and some friendly banter should be excpected.

Gumbet is a kind of two stage place-quiet if you want it or busy busy.Prices have risen dramatically over the last couple of years so it's not the cheap and cheerful place it once was but still a good destination.

Gumbet is open to any hour of the day! It is brilliant! faliraki is similar in the bar street area but it dont matter by the time you drink the free shots. BUT beware they try giving fruit juice out alot.. and they are pesky as hell!
