The resort cleanliness was perfect and I found numerous buckets. The entertainment was very well orginised, I would reccomend the Sami Beach hotel for entertainment every night. Drinks also cheap and staff very willing and friendly. The beach was very clean but sand wasnt what most would expext but still good. at night time staff of the hotels would go out and clean the beaches upturn sunbeds ect..
I would reccomend the boat trip in the daytime. Staff on that were very friendly and had the kids out helping as summer jobs, Found the kid on our boat no bother and very helpful and always asking if you wanted something to drink eat ect..
in all I would reccomend any hotel on the beach for a wonderful view of Gumbet and a great place for a drink at nighttime.
will definatly be going back next year for two weeks.

Resort is very clean and people are very friendly.
entertainment is excellent so much to choose from, the beach is clean and well kept with lots of sunbeds.

Gumbet is a great place bars and restuarants to suit old and young alike.One of our favourites was My Flower, excellent food and great live entertainment by Neco well worth a listen. Sun Flower just up from the hotel made the best homemade chips (if a little slow). Tha parrot bar also had excellent food. The locals are all very friendly and are always great fun. You will have great fun haggling over the price of the goods you buy. The beach is also fantastic plenty of sun beds and brollies. The sea was cear warm and shallow great for everyone.

Gumbet is a lovely place and quite clean entertainment was plentyful if you wanted it but a nice place just to relax on the beach which was lovely and clean.
We will go back to Gumbet again.

Gumbet was a great resort to stay. The beach was very clean with free sunbeds! (not very often beaches have free sunbeds). We would definitely visit Gumbet again - only a short dolmus ride away from Bodrum.

There was not a lot to do at the hotel but just 5 minutes up the road was the main street with all the restaurants and shops then another 5 minutes further up is bar street which we took full advantage of for the whole holiday. One restaurant to mention is Millenium which served great food at a great price and all the staff there were friendly and were happy to talk to you.
If you are looking to book trips anywhere, there is a little shop that sells excurstions run by Ahmet and Karen who are really lovely people and you can get some great deals and great trips from them.
Anyone looking for nights out must head on up to bar street which comes alive at about 11pm. Mystery bar is one that was frequently visited by us and the guys in there would dance with us and let us get up on the bar. The Kareoke Cabin underneath was great and was never too packed with people so you could get up and sing to your hearts content without lots of people watching you. Other bars that were good were Shakers, Central Bar, Shamrock and Outback. All the staff are friendly and will try to get you in with free shots.

We stayed in Serpina which is ideally situated as it is just five minutes walk from all of the bars, restaurants and shops but just far enough away so you are not disturbed by constant noise. It is also ten minutes walk from the beach where you can enjoy water sports or just lounge around in the sun. Serpina is also only twenty minutes walk from the historical windmills that overlook the city and also the dome that gave Gumbet its name. This part of Gumbet is truly unspoilt and when you get to the top, you will be astounded by the views as you can see Gumbet bay on one side of the hill and Bodrum bay on the other. On a clear day, you can also see Kos.

we went to the other end of the resort at nite as we had our daughter with us so avoided the middle part where all the youngsters go,usually molly malones,friendly polite and entertaining,always making you welcome.this is our 3rd time in gumbet.never saw any trouble whatssoever,everyone is so friendly.would highly recommend gumbet our daughter wants to back already,she fell in love with the place.

The beach was spotless but very busy. The resort itself was clean. The entertainment was typical tourist bars with English beer & music.

roxy 10/10 cocktails are 9lira in here when you go in say i want the cocktails for 6 and they will say yes everytime and the roxy cocktails are quite strong as everywhere els seem to be jus fruit juice
smileys 10/10 nice bar all the guys who left the hotel and was working here for a couple of weeks till they can find a better job so defo come here you will have really good night but quite expensive in here
