Location
With regard to the food, it was the usual. I am not a lover of food in Turkey but I always found something to eat.
This hotels caters for a wide mixture of nationalities so there was a lot I have never tried before. You could use the all inclusive restaurants in both the Club Hotel and World Hotel so if you could not find something in one, you could walk to the other and they would have different.
The location is around 7-10 mins Dolmus ride from Kusadasi, the main shopping, nightlife centre. The shops open till midnight 7 days a week and the cafes, clubs etc open all night!
The hotel staff/entertainment team were very friendly and couldnt do enough for you. On our last day they all congregated in the foyer area to wave us off! There were activites around both main pools every day all day that was not just for adults, but for children also, so if they did not want to join the kiddies clubs (like mine) then they did not need to.
There is a Water Park on site which is absolutely fab and is free for Aqua Fantasy guests. The beach was sandy and very nice, apart from the water which was cloudy and had a lot of seaweed in it.
During our second week the hotel seemed to have a lot more British guests. We met a lot of lovely people and will definitely return to this hotel soon.

We were allocated a room on the "World" side of the complex, in a brand new section of the hotel overlooking the Adults Only pool, another new feature.
The room was carpeted, which I think will be a mistake after a few seasons, and was comparable with any UK Premier Travel Inn or Travelodge room, apart from the air conditioning of course.
Other improvements included the addition of the new "Pearl" bar, and the lunchtime food served at both the Caribbean and new Pearl bar now being self service and including chicken, and spaghetti as well as the usual pizza, hotdogs, and burgers which you prevously had to queue ages for.
Another great improvement was the opening of the Caribbean bar at night during the evening entertainment. Previously you had to trek to either the Beach Bar or the Atrium Bar for a drink during the entertainment.
Minor improvements included larger plastic beakers for the beer during the day rather and cushions on all the sunbeds.
The hotel was full during our 2nd week, and held 3,500 people, with around 40% of these now being British, but due to the vastness of the complex it never seems overcrowded.
Again, the downfalls of this hotel are the food which becomes repetitive and tends to be aimed more at the European guests, especially the breakfasts, the quality of the evening entertainment, and the isolation of the hotel, being about 10 mins away from Kusadasi by Dolmus.
The waterpark is one of the main features, and one of the main reasons why we re-visited. We discovered that the waterpark will be renovated and updated during the closed season between October 2007 and April 2008.
The 2 hour transfer from Bodrum is another downfall of this holiday, but we understand that First Choice are flying to Izmir in 2008, just an hour away.
If you have kids they will love this hotel as there is always something for them to do. Having now visited twice in as many years, we will not be returning for a couple of years but I'm sure we will again at some point in the future.

My children are very picky with their food, but there was always something to eat! Food was widely avalible morning til night. The hotel needs bigger glasses for drinks so you haven't got to keep going back to the bar. Also the bars need to stay open a little later as the all-inclusive package ends at 11 o'clock, just as entertainment finishes.
Hotel is a short distance away from the main town, but ony costs a few lira for a taxi. We found that the shops in the hotel were cheaper than having to haggle in the the town, and the locals are very pushy!! just say NO politly!
Hotel staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you.
Entertainment was good, but could have done with more varitey of shows for younger families.
We really enjoyed this holiday and are revisting again next August, taking with us my Sister-in-law and her husband, and my daughter's two friends, aged 17.

I couldnt fault the cleanliness of the hotel, everywhere you looked someone was cleaning or tidying the place.
The only problem we had with the food was it being cold despite arriving for the restaurant opening. On our last night we arrived 10 minutes early and it was still cold. There isn't much choice if your a vegetarian, a girl we met there survived on rice and eggs! My son disliked the majority of food but it was mainly aimed for the dutch holidaymakers.
The splashcard which you are given to pay for drinks, icecreams etc I would advise you to pay the balance in turkish lira as if you pay for it in Euros you end up paying more due to the exchange rate. Please pay for the splashcard regularly, as we were charged for bottles of water we did not purchase but from reading other peoples review we were aware of this occuring. I would also advise you to keep an eye on the mini bar as another holidaymaker was billed for a drink which wasnt in there.
The only reason I wouldn't go back to the hotel is that I would rather visit different hotels and resorts and I disliked how the hotel was used by a variety of different nationalities, ie dutch, german, belgium and turkish people. The hotel was mostly aimed for them than British people.

The entertainment staff were fantastic-making sure you enjoyed every minute of your hard-earned hol. There was no time to be bored here-the waterpark was fab just on your doorstep. And choosing which pool to lie round was a feat in itself! The swim-up bars were a must.
The staff were so polite and went out of their way to help you (and they were still polite to the rude Dutch who just shouted their bar order without so much a a "please") I think the Turks like the English because we were civil to them.
I was apprehensive about going but as soon as I saw the hotel that feeling disappeared-it was just the best.
I am a veggie and I found something to eat each night and the kids just stuffed their faces all day! HINTS:use common sense re ordering drinks late at the bar-get them in early or go to a quiet bar for them. Also box-clever-re the waterpark - we went after brekkie and then came back for lunch so didn't have to spend in waterpark.
Would definately go back-don't listen to the moaners-they are the type that would complain about anything-some people just like to moan! Quite lively+noisy at night but you can find some quiet parts if you really want to.
GO THERE-HAPPY HOLIDAY!!

Our room was a good size (2850) but it had carpet which I would say is a big mistake on the hotels part as it was very badly stained also we had 2 bedrooms and the second had not been cleaned properly, there were sticky finger marks on the sides and they were quite dirty, easily cleaned with baby wipes, but annoying, the only other problem with the room was the noise after 12 midnight where children were sometimes running playing knock down ginger, when you have children a sleep that was very annoying plus drunken people making lots of noise. That ofcourse is not the hotels fault but selfish people at that late hour somes 2.00 in the morning.
There was no real entertainment, there was a dance team that were not on every night, but they were very good but when they were on it was from only 21.00 to 22.00 and the irish bar had kariokee 22.30, the first week there were films in the evenings in the club side lounge but only a couple of times the second week and if there was Dutch football on they would not show a film so the whole bar had to watch football as it was so loud you could not chat..
The childrens disco was about three songs in dutch, this hotel is aimed at Dutch and our children were disapointed, but still enjoyed themselves in making their own entertainment.
The Aqua park is good but did not have all rides open and in the second week some of the childrens bits were taken away.
Twice we found invoices for things out of the fridge, which we had not had and refused to pay.
All in all we enjoyed ourselves and with a few minor changes this would be a lovely place.
The tranfer is long but the coach is comfortable and it was not that bad at all.
The local buses are mini buses just outside the hotel is a chap who calls them and books the seats and there is not a long wait and its not too far either way to the two markets in both towns and Ephisus is well worth a visit
