Worth paying all inclusive for the drinks, but not the food. Expect to eat out occasionally. Best rooms: Ground floor, facing the pool.

The resort is fantastic. With all Turkish people so polite and happy and eager to please. Yes they want you to eat in their restorants and buy things from their shops but are not over pushy and once you say no they just tell you to have a nice day. They are particularly good with children and all go the extra mile to talk to and play with. They are extremely genuine people.
The beaches are really nice and very clean. A bit pebbley. There are a lot of little private beaches you can get to a good one is Billys beach which is smaller and very well run.
I am looking forward to returning again next year as its one of the best holiday resorts we have been to with everything you could ask for.

The village of Hisaronu is more like a town as its quite extensive, there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and even a small funfair. The whole place comes alive at night. Shoe's bags and clothes are a must so leave enough room in your suitcase!! The avarage price of a meal is 16 to 18 TL which is approximately £6.50 to £7.30 although a lot of the restaurants offer a very good set meal menu for 18 to 20 TL. A pint of beer is roughly £1.80 and a coke £1.20.

Only resort I've ever been back to. I used to think the world is a big place and couldn't see why people went back to the same resort year after year. Having been to Hisaronau I changed my mind. Went this year with intention of it being our last and we had such a brill holiday going back next year. The amount of people we talked to who had been back year after year, some as many as 15 years. Must say something about the place!

Reason I have graded the Beach Standard as a 1 is that there is no beach other than the one in Oule Deniz. This beach looks lovely on the photos but in actual fact is extremely stoney and is very difficult to get into the water with bare feet. I'd recommend taking swim shoes. Be careful when swimming as the water depth goes very deep very quickly so keep hold of your young ones!

We, as a family, love the resort and can't find fault with it as it caters for all ages, food is excellent, shopping is fab with a Monday market in Hisaronau. Don't be afraid to haggle, they expect it.

Can't wait to go back in 2010.

Hope this has helped.

Used to live here and can see a lot of improvements over the years.I find it a good base to travel from in order to see a more natural aspect of Turkey. As with most places the area is becoming more epensive year by year and I think that the powers that be need to keep a close watch on the amount of development here and perhaps concentrate on the real Turkey a bit more,Very impressed with the harbour front in Fethiye.

We have stayed in this resort many times and its perfect for both couples and families.
There are loads of good places to eat in particular the Turkish Ivy and Castellos where the prices are reasonable, the staff are good fun and the quality of food is fantastic.
Try a Turkish bath, its excellent and well worth the money.
Shop around the gift shops for bargains.
The supermarkets are full of Turkish and English fayre.
The shuttle buses are regular and on time with low fares to Olu Deniz and surrounding resorts.

Resort very clean indeed
Entertainment started at 21:00 each evening and was pleasant.
Nearest beach is at Olu Deniz a 13 YTL taxi ride away or on the Dolmus from the hotel gate. The beach is very nice but the town is like a british seaside resort and not particulary clean- constantly harrased by the natives.

No beach as you are up in the mountain. Olu deniz is just a 10 minute dolmus ride away. plenty of restaurants and bars. lots of shops too. the resort is very beautiful and you can watch the microlight planes as they pass over.
The road is closed to vehicles at 7pm so you can walk without fear of vehicles. there is a great place called the turkish delight factory, he lets you sample some while picking your selection. the sunset restaurant deserves a mention for great food and friendly staff. try fatimas down the side street near the road barrier, great food and you feel like you are eating with friends.

We have been here so many times we have lost count, it has grown considerably since we first came but is still a friendly, safe place to visit for families. Absolutely great for eating and entertainment and plenty of shops. The main street is closed to traffic after 7pm allowing people to wander along looking in the shops and also makes it a good place to people watch from the bars and restaurants above the shops. Down side is that the beach is at Olu Deniz but a short dolmus ride (every couple of minutes) drops you off right there and there is plenty of access to trips, jeep safaris and boat trips from the village.
